The best primer I’ve used on my face! My T- Zone gets very oily whenever I’m put on makeup and I don’t like that and so I was on the hunt to find one that really work especially for long hours. This Maybeline Grippy really did just that and then it acts as skincare so 2 in 1 ? Loooove! The first time trying it, I went to an event and my face was still a face at the end. It wasn’t giving oily and ready to come off. Definitely a 10 for me.

Nice, budget friendly primer. Layers well with other skincare products and under makeup without pilling or leaving make up looking cakey. Doesn’t do much in terms of a lasting dewy look but it is a nice formula that isn’t sticky and absorbs into the skin well.

This is an excellent primer! It provides a smooth, hydrated base with a slightly tacky finish that absorbs my foundation perfectly. Truly the only primer I’ll ever need!

I bought this on a whim and am so happy I did. It feels great going on and holds so well. I had never found a primer I liked before, so I went without. Now I don't wear makeup without applying this first. The only con was the smell the first few times I used it. It almost smelled like it had gone bad, but now there doesn't appear to be a smell to it.

I've used this primer for full face makeup occasions and it hasn't let me down! As long as I've hydrated/moisturized my face ahead of time (and let that set) before applying, this thing works like a dream. It will hold that makeup on like its existence depends on it. I've got acne prone/sensitive skin and though everyones skin is different, this product has not caused me any breakouts. It's been tested through multiple weddings with much sweat involved from dancing. Pretty happy with this.

Not really grippy and kind of thin which was expected since it’s a serum formula. I feel like I need another primer with it. Kind of held up well under my foundation but was difficult to press into my skin. Made the foundation look like a mask on me.

Ok let's start off with the fact that I'm almost 40, and have what is considered "mature skin". I've tried countless "high-end" primers, and I like this the best. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily, like a lot of primers do, and my makeup stays in place from 7am until at least midnight, without moving at all. I'm almost convinced that I could sleep in this and wake up looking exactly the same. The makeup I use on top of it doesn't cake or crease, and my skin looks beautiful. I'm pretty pale (almost Casper-like), so any texture on my skin shows up like crazy, and now I dont have to worry about that with this primer under my makeup. My teenage daughter keeps trying to steal it from my vanity, so I guess I'd better get her one, too. Anyway, I love this primer and highly recommend it!

Good primer for makeup longevity, not super sticky. I have no complaints but I do think I prefer grippy primers from other brands I’ve tried better.

My absolute favorite primer ever!! It absolutely helps the stay power of my make up, and it feels incredible with its jelly-like texture, especially in the Canadian winter where my skin is so ridiculously dry.

I struggle with hydration big time. Despite using a highly hydrating serum as well as moisturizer and a moisturizing spray, I still struggled putting on makeup. This serum primer made all the difference in the world. It doesn't blur pores very well though, so I do use a different primer under it in the sports where my pores are very visible, but it's awesome otherwise.
