Great mid-size mixing palette
This is a porcelain palette thatโs sort of midsize. Itโs in a metal container with an attached lid to keep the paint clean and portable. Itโs a great palette for mixing paint and made really well. Iโm adding it to my plein air kit and Iโm sure it will be very useful and durable.

Heavy but great for my studio area.
Heavy but I appreciate the protective tin box and I accept its weight because I want porcelain instead of plastic for my mixing areas.

Great product
Excellent product. Very helpful when traveling, the hard case and protective liner. The wells are quite large so you can hold a good amount of the color you're trying to make. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Well protected but heavy.
I thought this might be a good option for an upcoming trip. The palatte and tin with it's foam bumper are heavy, weighing in at 1lb. That's more weight than I'd like to surrender in my suitcase. I had hoped it would be lighter. As a studio ceramic palate, works great.

Very nice ceramic palette! Looks exactly like the pictures in the listing.
The ceramic palette arrived very well packaged in a stiff cardboard box, and then inside its travel tin with a foam bumper to protect it. It's a great palette: heavy in weight with nine wells. It could even be used on the flip side, if you have something less runny, such as acrylic paint. There's a single well on the back with a rim around it. I'm not sure why anyone would take this traveling because of its size and weight. I also don't think the tin is airtight. However, it's a great studio palette. The tin could be used separately for magnetized pans, or just to store the palette in. It would be perfect to keep the dust off of gouache or watercolor that can be reactivated at a later date. The tin comes with a swatch card in the lid, which is a nice touch (although the card does have a glossy finish).
