Review: Great toy! - Bought this for my adventurous 5 year old daughter for Christmas, but all my kids love to play with it. Very well made. Works super well. Sturdy. Great for some target practice or just some imaginative play. It has earned all the stars in my book. Love that it comes with so many arrows and quiver. It has taught my kids basic safety skills and has built their confidence.
Review: Perfect Prop - I used this in our production of The Addams Family. I played Wednesday and it was perfect! My one complaint is I had to build my own arrows since the groove in the crossbow was too deep for the arrows provided. It was an easy fix though! I bought some dowels, cut them down and glued some pieces of foam to look like an arrow. Highly recommend to buy if anybody is in The Addams Family and looking for a Wednesday crossbow!

**Q: How far does this fire?**
A: I don't know for sure- but I would guesstimate about 20-40 ft?

**Q: Is this an appropriate sz for a 5 year old girl??**
A: I would say this toy is more for 7-8 year old kids but  Quiver is easy to operate and very light... 5 year old should be able to enjoy it as well

**Q: What type of wood is it made of?**
A: Everything is pine, but the bow arm is flexible bamboo.

**Q: We want to use this as a prop, is it possible to put together but leave out a piece so it doesn't actually shoot?**
A: For it to shoot, you need to pull the string to trigger it. Unfortunately, the string is a vital part of the set up. You can leave out your arrow if you want.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Prop

I used this in our production of The Addams Family. I played Wednesday and it was perfect! My one complaint is I had to build my own arrows since the groove in the crossbow was too deep for the arrows provided. It was an easy fix though! My son was born loving tools of all kinds and this crossbow is a big hit. No problem handling it solo. Wish it was a little better made. Unlike the picture on amazon, the bow we received was made with a thin curving wooden tongue that allows some flexible pressure at the base of the arrow channel. I think the design is good but the tongue was already starting to split when we got it. Manufacturer should make it easy to get a replacement tongue. The tongue is attached with 2 small screws. If this item survives heavy use I would give it 5 stars.
