If I could have given this product no stars at all, that would have been my choice. For it to be called an orthopedic dog bed is a stretch to say the least. I jostled and shook this bed in an effort to redistribute the foam pieces evenly, but there were large sections of the foam pieces that were molded together like hard plastic. There is no way any dog could ever feel comfortable on this piece of junk. For them to charge $60 for the mess I received is an insult to our intelligence as consumers. This dog bed is in worse shape than the old dog bed I am trying to replace. Also, there is not enough stuffing in this dog bed to make it comfortable for a large dog. I ordered the extra large size so that my long-haired dachsund could feel comfortable, yet there is not enough loft in this product to keep her from laying in direct contact with the floor. She weighs 13 pounds. I called the service number that they included with the shipment and that number is no longer in service. That alone speaks volumes.Please do not buy this product, you will end up sending it back just like I am.

This bed is everything I hoped it would be! Extremely fluffy and supportive! I read through the reviews before my purchase so after I removed the bed from the packaging I did what others had mentioned. I removed the bed from its cover and separated the foam pieces while fluffing it as I went. It took about ten minutes but worked great and it fluffed right up. I purchased this for our large 100lb dog who’s older and never sleeps anywhere but on our couch. Our bulldog was the first to try it out and you can see our large dog on the couch in the background of the first photo. As soon as our bulldog got up our couch hog got on the bed and fell fast asleep. I can’t believe that all it took was this bed for us to get our couch back! We have tried numerous dog beds and our large dog turned his nose up at all of them until he laid on this one and that was all she wrote!! The photos were taken an hour after receiving and fluffing up the bed and I draped a soft blanket over it to protect the cover because our large dog likes to nest. We also have 4 other dogs who have never had a chance to try it out because our large dog is always on it but I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these beds for them.

This bed is so comfortable that I’m jealous of my dog. Of course my German Shepard (that I bought it for) switched with my golden retriever for the smaller bed. But for size reference, in the picture this bed is the one on the left, and my dog to the right is a full grown German Shepard. It took about 48 hrs to fully expand once in packaging, however in just about 3 hours it’s expanded enough for them to sleep on it. The cover gets washed every week for the past 1.5 months, and it looks as in as good of condition as before the first wash. The zipper is not flimsy either, like some of the beds I have bought.

I knew I would either love it or hate it according to all the reviews I read. It took nearly 48 hours to completely fluff up and another day for my Newfie/Bernese to warm up to the humongeous bed of fuff but once I laid on it to show her how comfy it was, she got on and has claimed it as hers and is on it all the time now. This bed is well made, great size for my 140 pound baby girl and the grey color is nice. Very happy with purchase. Worth the wait for the memory foam to fluff up and the bottom line~~Maggie loves it!!❤🐾🐾

This is hands down the best dog bed I've owed, with an emphasis on the ease of cleaning. The cover comes off easily for cleaning and goes back on easily. Having a waterproof lining to protect the foam was a must for me, because I got tired of sweat and rainwater getting into the innards of other dog beds and having to discard them. The fact that it comes with two covers is a real bonus by providing a choice of colors or using one while washing the other.While this ships compressed in a very tight package, it expands just like in the product pictures. Avoid the temptation to try using it to quickly after unpacking. I let mine sit for two days and it puffed up nicely. After four months it still looks like the product pictures and is a perfect fit for my dogs.From a pricing perspective, this was almost twice as expensive as what I used to consider a good dog bed. But the quality of this product totally justifies the price and is easily worth 3 or 4 of the beds I was buying before. I am definitely buying another one for a different room of the house.

I have a German Shepard and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Finding basically any dog related product that can fit the bill and last is difficult, to say the least! A few months ago I bought this same dog bed and was quite disappointed as the materials were thin and the bed stiffing was minimal. However, even at that this was a better product than others I had returned. I contacted the supplier, shared my concerns, and they responded immediately and professionally, refunded the purchase price and implied they would investigate. Once my Bernese puppy was ready for his XL crate, I thought I'd give these people another shot, and they did not disappoint. The materials were of a higher quality much better construction, while the stuffing is literally 2Xs as thick! I cant say enough about Oak Creek Outdoor Supply and will certainly purchase from them again!

Excellent quality bed, seams very well made and fabric and fleece top are all a nice sturdy quality! Out of the box you have to really shake it and fluff it at first, (I put it in the dryer for about 10-15 minutes) to help the micro fill expand - this is normal for any memory foam so don't be deceived or put off when you get it .. (The memory foam pieces are the same ideas as the "my pillow" for humans which are very expensive .. It molds to however you like, or in this case to however your pooch likes!) Let it warm up, sit out, and lots of good shakes it WILL fluff and keep it's shape. Easy to clean cover and just a few shakes it's fluffed again - my 110 lb Dane/Hound fur baby likes to "dig" and circle to make his bed before he naps, it is holding up well, and easily takes it's shape again. Bodhi loves it and so do I! Would definitely recommend!

My 9 yr old 160 lb english mastiff 100% approves! She normally will want to go lay on 2 old orthopedic beds, plus 2 blankets in our garage than her orthopedic bed we had in the house. Well after 5 mins of this bed, my old bones girl has pretty much only left her bed to go do her business. She even kicked her lab x sister off it (which she normally has no problem sharing her bed with)! Only gave 4 stars because the fluffing of the memory foam pieces was a pain in the butt... but clearly worth it for my senior giant!

when i first opened the package i was extremely disappointed at how thin the pillow was. I read through the reviews and some said to take the pillow out and fluff it so i did and that helped a lot. after about 48 hours it got to the full thickness. it is extremely comfortable and my dog absolutely loves this bed. she is a large american bulldog so she needs a lot of room. this bed is perfect for large dogs and a great value for the money

First of all, there was no chemical smell when I took it out of the bag. I’ve had that problem previously with foam filled pet beds.It’s rolled up when shipped so its rock hard when it arrives. Took me about 20 minutes of kneading and shaking to get the foam all loosened up inside to give it some loft.Tossed it on the floor and my 67lb Doberman curled right up on it. She loves it.It will probably require a weekly shake to keep the memory foam from compressing. Based on the fact that my dog absolutely loves it, I’ll give it 5 stars. Good price for the size of it too. It would fit up to a 100lb dog.

The beds took about a day to fully expand from being compressed for shipping. After they expanded they were very soft. We have 2 Great Danes and they love the beds. The problem is the top "wooly" material is extremely thin and within 2 weeks the tops have large holes from the dogs nesting. I won't buy these again just for that reason.

Perfect for my 160lb boy Rocky, had it for a month before he passed away and he was very comfortable on it. Very easy to clean and soft material. Now my little dog and 2 cats enjoy it 🙂
