TuTu 32 Inch HD TV with DVD, 2K LED Small Flat Screen Non-Smart DVD Television, Works with Apple TV, Fire Stick, Roku, Google, TiVo, Xumo, and Streaming Devices

I'm very thankful and delighted!!! This Tutu 32" LED TV/DVD Combo performs like a champ for over-the-air TV and standard DVDs. (For Blu Ray DVDs, hook up a Blu Ray DVD player.) I recently purchased and returned an Insignia Fire TV, which, I discovered, was designed for use with WiFi, Amazon, etc., with very little accommodation for over-the-aIr TV. The TuTu handles standard over-the-air channels with ease. It instantly picked up 118 channels, as opposed to the 88 I could receive after many attempts on the Insignia Fire with the same excellent 60-mile-range indoor antenna. The TuTu's remote includes a numerical keyboard for specifying the desired channel. It allows full function for your added Blu Ray DVD player and its remote. The TuTu has easy straight-forward setup and controls and a great picture That's the way a TV should function!

Set up was a breeze but hit a snag when the screen flashed a message telling me to "auto scan." I had no idea what that meant. 30 minutes later, after researching and performing an auto scan, but achieving no satisfaction, I figured out the problem. The auto scan is only necessary if you are not connecting through an HDMI source (a cable company). If you have cable, simply connect the HDMI cord to the back of your tv. Then click "source" on your TuTu remote and scroll down to the appropriate HDMI channel. Presto, you are connected. You will need to use the cable remote to change channels. The Tutu remote is good for turning the tv on and off and for using the DVD. It's a good little tv/dvd combo at a very reasonable price.

Overview: I recieved the TV and immediately noted some nuances about it. 1) The DVD player is not internal, it is an external drive that is attached to the back of the TV 2) The remote is NOT user friendly and overly complex (so if you are thinking of buying this for a senior parent, or are someone yourself who is not tech savvy this is not the TV for you. Function: Unlike most DVD players that are internal, you can't just insert a DVD into this TV and expect it to play, each time a DVD is played you must work through the remote, first change the remote input, then change the TV from antenna, cable, or DVD to DVD. Newer TVs (which I expected this to be) don't typically require this, its a default function if you insert the DVD it plays. Regardless, we opted to keep it and use it as a secondary TV that my mom could watch movies on. This was broadly a mistake, here we are three days after the close of the return window and it doesn't work. intermittently go into a blank screen, switch functions etc.. Not really sure what issue is, but I know that I can't recommend this unfortunately. I do try to give various brands that are lesser known the collegiate try ; it's important for everyone to have an opportunity to access the competitive market no matter how small, or large their brand is, but this one is a miss.

Nice dumb TV. No subscriptions needed. DVD works great. Sound is fine in a small space (RV).

I have truly over the years ordered multiple TV/DVD combination televisions - most of which had flaw or two and overpriced. I was shocked by the low cost of 32" TuTu TV for it is truly the best of the half dozen TV/DVD players from brand name producers. The Picture is beautiful! Incredible clarity and sound just as well. True cinema sound as loud or quiet as desired. Easy set up and remote does everything you wish for. I just would have liked it better if the remote control print is really small and light to read - yet once you understand it it is no problem.

We bought this for our toddler to go to sleep in her own room. Mounted nicely on the wall (with separately purchased wall mount). It was nice not have to buy a separate DVD player! The sound isn’t the greatest quality but it is more than enough for a kids bedtime tv!

It wasn't a bad deal for the price...picture was ok... dvd player worked. Decent sound. Just what ever you do don't lose the remote for this thing it's practically a brick now. I bought 2 different replacement remotes that this was supposed to be compatible with but never even got a signal from the tv and the other is a programmable one that has to scan every single code it has programmed in it to find a compatible one. I found 2 both would turn the set on and off but not let me change the source settings so I could actually use the set... thus it sits...blank. several googles to try and find a code set that would work have thus far proved useless...and tho there are a set of buttons on the set that let's me into the menus to select a source every time I try to it just jumps to another menu. I probably wouldn't buy this set if I could go back in time. But...the lesson here is...don't break or lose the remote I guess.
