I got the LEGO City F1 Driver with McLaren Race Car (Set 60442) for my 5-year-old son, and he absolutely loved it! The set has 86 pieces, so it was just the right size for him—he could build most of it on his own with a little help. The McLaren race car looks awesome, and he had so much fun racing it around once it was built. The driver minifigure is also a cool addition. The instructions were easy to follow, and he really liked using the LEGO app for extra help, too. For the price, it’s a perfect set for a young builder. My son had a blast, and it kept him entertained for hours. Definitely a win!

I bought this for my son, who is 9 years old. Instructions can be a little iffy, which is across the board for all lego sets, I feel. He did better building this with the Lego 3D Instruction App. The car is durable, decent size, and as expected, good Lego quality. Overall, worth your money.

What can I say, it’s pretty awesome like all other legos. Just it’s a little basic and seems like there’s more bag for buck with other auto Lego sets. But it’s a McLaren so it’s pretty cool. My 6 year old made this pretty quickly
