Worth every 5-star review. Amazing.
I had never had this type of tea before, so before I bought it, I looked at the reviews. There were TWENTY TWO 5 star reviews, and nothing lower than 5 stars! I was a little skeptical, because I'd never seen that positive of a review of an item. When I took my first sip I had to pause and reflect on how amazing it was. My initial purchase was one box, and I immediately made the decision to go back to buy more. It's that good. I want to drink it all the time. It has a mild, almost creamy taste. Very calming. Very delicious. 5 stars from me :)

Greenthread tea
This is greenthread, aka cota, aka Navajo Tea. I'd previously purchased from High Desert Farmers, but he has since stopped selling online. He sold them two ways: as tea bags, and as bundles of stalks with flower heads. Yanabah tea definitely is the same greenthread tea, but the stalks have been chopped up into tiny pieces so they fit into the tea bags. Packaging? The tea bags inside the box are packaged in a clear plastic bag, that unfortunately is not re-sealable the way that Celestial Seasonings' inner liner is. However, I moved the bags into a rinsed-out plastic whipped cream cheese container to store them, and that works just as well. Taste? Greenthread tea tastes weird. It's kind of like chamomile, but unlike chamomile tea, this doesn't have any bitterness, no matter how long you accidentally leave the tea bag to steep. I'm one of those who accidentally forgets I made tea, and so, this aspect of greenthread is awesome for me. It also has a slightly fish-sauce-like scent. Health benefits? I wish there were more controlled studies on it. I drink it because it reminds me of Eastern New Mexico and West Texas.

Interesting flavor that is quite nice, almost a four star rating.
It is hard to describe the flavor of this tea but the best way I can say it is it interesting. It isn't my favorite herbal tea, but I find that have a craving for it about once a week. I really like it, but can't give it a four star review, but would be well deserving of 3 1/2 stars if Amazon would let me click half a star.

Very pleasing, mild flavor
My oversensitive body and stomach seem to really like this tea. So much so, it's easy to make it often to drink. I have lupus and fibromyalgia, and find drinking this with a little honey added, is soothing. I will be ordering from this company again, as I want to always have some of this tea around. My only complaint is that the box was mailed in an envelope, and the box was crushed by the time it got here.

Good tea, Navajo-owned company
I've been trying to find a source for a tea I bought at an art show at one of the local pueblos here in New Mexico. It's made from a pretty yellow wildflower called greenthread. I loved the tea but couldn't find a local source to buy more. I was very glad to find Yanabah: their tea is just as tasty as what I'd had before, and I'm happy to be buying from a Navajo-owned company. I like the plain tea best (try it with a little honey), but the mint is good too.

Nice mellow flavor, high quality, worth trying!
I love trying new teas and I was excited to try this one. I did a little more research on its main ingredient, Greenthread, and I was intrigued. So far after about 3 or 4 cups, I'm pretty please with it. It has an earthy but extremely mild flavor. It's simple, delicate, soothing, and uncomplicated by the addition of other herbs or flavors - it just tastes pure. The bags are packed in a single plastic sleeve and each bag is pulled as needed, without a string and tag, so there's no money wasted on unnecessary decorative packaging. Though the teabags are a little small, they brew very well in about 3-4 minutes and I've even gotten a second cup out of them. Overall, this isn't a "knock your socks off" tea, but it's a really nice addition to my tea collection when I'm craving a cup but am not looking for a specific, overwhelming flavor. I'm glad I tried it.

Excellent for stomach issues
This tea is very good for stomach issues. It has a very light flavor so I will usually add some fresh mint leaves or a mint tea bag & sweeten with honey to kick up the flavor. Mint is good for the tummy too. As an added bonus, I had a very bad & constant eye twitch that lasted a month & this tea actually got rid of it after one cup. That was a nice surprise. Not many studies have been done on the effects of this tea but a friend of mine who is a missionary with the Navajo tribe says they use it a lot. She actually brought me some fresh bundles once. When I ran out I ordered this brand & it is excellent.

Herbal tea with a proven history
This herbal tea has been used for decades on the Navajo reservation to aid a number of illnesses. I find it very relaxing just before retiring. It helps me sleep. If I have a cold, it helps with congestion. I even drink a cup before the dentist to help me cope with anxiety.
