One of my Favourite Harry Potter Lego Sets.
The 76447 Harry Potter Flying Lessons set, a recreation of the classic moment in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. The first lesson with Broom sticks. Draco grabs Nevil’s Remberal and puts it on the castle roof.Complete with six mini Figures. Harry, Neville , Draco , Oliver Wood . Prof Magonagill, and Madam Hooch. Included are a couple of boom sticks and the Remberall. With around 651 pieces, this works out at 10p pieces. This is a good for a Harry Potter set.The package as with all Lego is first class. The build is broken up into a series of paper bags ( Green solution to replace plastic bags). The printed instructions take you through the build bag by bag and are easy to follow. Also meaning this doesn’t have to be built in one sitting. It can be broken up into a couple of sessions. The results are amazing. As it is Lego the brick fit together easily and stay put. They are safe and look great. This can be combined with other range sets to build a fuller Howorth’s castle. This is the best of the January 2025 Harry Potter sets and one of the better Harry Potter sets. Good enough to be displayed or can be used as a play set. Recommend.

Fantastic Harry Potter Set – 2½ hour build with hours of further play!
My 12-year-old daughter remains a die-hard LEGO fan so I jumped at the opportunity to review this ‘LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle’ set.I handed her the box and she couldn’t wait to start putting everything together, spending just under 2½ hours on a very leisurely build.I only had to help her once and that was because she’d stuck two small tiles together that were the wrong colour and had forgotten how to use to the included tool to separate them again.Other than that, she did everything herself and was absolutely delighted with the end result.I’ve lost count of the number of LEGO sets my kids have completed over the years, but this particular one is up there with the best, especially if you’re a Harry Potter fan. There’s just so much play with this set once it’s been built and there’s a lot you can do with it and the good selection of included characters.I liked how the castle opened up giving access to internal rooms and I liked the little ‘snap lock’ that was built into the design that kept it all snugly closed. This gave it a small footprint when not in use and almost everything was contained within, so less chance of pieces being accidentally knocked off and/or lost. This Hogwarts Castle set is exactly what you would expect from LEGO making it extremely easy for me (and my daughter) to recommend.

Good set, excellent detailed mini figures
Very fun LEGO set, was a good build that took a couple of hours, should be appropriate for most ages. It uses an interesting hinge concept, that can be folded around away quite nicely and looks quite good in this arrangement. Includes a couple of rooms with some nice details too. It's a decent-sized set, overall quite a large model, especially when opened up.Mini figures are fantastic, with lots of iconic details to make them very distinctive and recognisable as well as a few accessories too. Good value for the size and number of pieces, especially once you factor in the Harry Potter theme.
