An absolute must after my total knee replacement. Our toilets are "standard" height and after my surgery I needed help getting up from the seat. This fit the bill in every possible way. Fully adjustable in height and width so it fit in the narrow space where our toilet is at. The handles made it possible for me to be completely independent getting on and off the toile. The padded seat was great. It's was easy for my husband to assemble and adjust for my needs and safety. I needed it for only about 4 weeks and it has been cleaned and disassembled and put back in the box for future use (husband has knee surgery on the horizon too). Easy to move, and is very stable.

Well-made, sturdy, and a great aid to the elderly, arthritic, and sick. The toilet seat is easy to assemble. Most all installed toilets have seats that are too close to the floor for people who have problems sitting and raising themselves up. This seat has a number of adjustment levels to get the height to a comfortable level for the user. The padded seat is very comfortable and secure, the padded arms provide an extra measure of safety, and the adjustable width of the unit allows its placement in situations where there is not a lot of room between the toilet and walls.

I bought this raised toilet seat as a gift for my mother because, due to her age, she has a lot of trouble sitting down and standing up from the toilet, and it has truly been one of the best decisions for her comfort at home. What we like most is the stability offered by the side handles, as they give her a lot of confidence to lean on them firmly without the product wobbling; plus, the material feels very durable and high-quality. I loved that it is adjustable in both width and height, allowing it to fit her bathroom and her height perfectly. As you can see in the photos I’m sharing, the design is very practical, and since we installed it, she feels much more autonomous and no longer struggles or exerts so much physical effort every time she needs to use the bathroom. I totally recommend it for any elderly person with mobility issues, as it has positively changed my mom’s daily life.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to put together, pieces fit well. Works with the original seat still attached to the toilet (at least with the elongated bowl), and the original seat down. Seems very sturdy. Our loved one weighs about 165, and complains that the seat is uncomfortable. She had a pretty bad "accident" this morning. We helped her onto the seat, and she left a big mess. We tried a few different cleaners, but the seat was stained, is stained, will continue to be stained. It's clean. It just looks gross. UPDATE: The seller contacted me to see what they could do to help. They sent a replacement seat. Our patient (our loved-one) is not complaining so much about it being uncomfortable, either. I added a star for very good customer service.

This raised toilet seat has been a lifesaver for my 83-year-old mother, both before and after her hip surgery. Never thought I'd need something like this but it has been incredibly helpful and makes using the bathroom safer. It's adjustable, light weight so moving it to clean the toilet easy. Works so well we got a second for the other bathroom. If you need a toilet riser, get this. Easy to assemble and very safe to use

This is a great raised toilet seat. We needed one that could be adjusted so that mom could get back there and wipe herself. The seat has a split in the middle so you can spread it out. A great feature that is hard to find. It was easy to put together and easy to clean. We ended up taking the toilet seat off and just setting this over the toilet bowl. It works great!
