Does the Bose 520 push 4K quality sound through the HDMI outlet on the console.

Accepted Answer

4K is a video resolution spec only, and has nothing to do with sound.  If you hook up an external source with an HDMI cable to the HDMI INPUT on this system, and the external source is sending a 4K video signal, then Yes, the 4K video resolution signal can pass through this system and output the same 4K signal to your 4K compatible TV.  The audio signal that accompanies that 4K video signal will also be played on the Bose system (but the audio signal itself is not 4k).  Again, 4K refers to video signal resolution only.

How long are the speaker wires, I have one area that may require about 40'

the front speaker cables are 20 feet.  the rear speaker cables are 50 feet.   if a longer cable is needed, an 80-foot cable(part number629116-0020) is available from bose.  1-800-901-0875

Question 3

Can I use a wired connection for the subwoofer instead of wireless? Or does it have to be explicitly wireless?

But it's  always best practice when buyingBose equipment if the seller is not an authorrise Bose dealer then the warranty That Bose Provides will not be  valid.
