Choose a different product, these are very poorly made.
First off, these are not NPT compliant. (National Pipe Thread, the standard used in the United States). There is no taper whatsoever, the diameter is the same the entire length of the thread, which will cause the fitting to leak. Brass fittings are intended to deform and thus create a tighter connection, which is absolutely vital if you don’t want your house or business to explode if you’re using it for flammable gas such as LP or natural gas.Additionally, the threads are poorly cut, I first noticed burrs (metal shavings) that I had unfortunately cleaned up prior to taking photos, but burrs on fittings are generally not a good thing. It appears that the manufacturing process is using worn out dies which need to be replaced. Any decent quality control should have caught these flaws prior to leaving the factory.I’ve been very busy and just now have had the opportunity to use the fittings I ordered, a bit too long ago to be able to return them, or I would, so in the trash they go.

Good quality
Well made and perfect for my DeWalt 30-gal air compressor. This allowed me to attach my quick-disconnect air coupler at a 90-degree angle. Now the air hose hangs straight down, relieving pressure on the collar.

Some reviews are totally inaccurate... mine isn't one of them
I typically always read the 1 star reviews first. You really need to be subjective to the item and the person. Some folks are "internet experts" and some have a "working knowledge". There were reviews about how the thread end was not tapered. Its visibly tapered and worked as it should. That myth has been debunked.... I used some tephlon tape, only needed about 2 full wraps to get it to seal. Threaded on, tighten snuggly and it works perfectly. No leaks. Watch out for those "internet experts" that will mislead you, as well as those who are bought out by the seller to delete their 1 star for money or paid to boost up to a 5 star. I was not paid or contacted regarding this product or my review.

What can I say...
Compressor Drain... removed O.E.M. drain, added the 90, & 5" long nipple and a ball valve on the end to easily drain any moisture in the air tank!

Worked great for air compressor drain line
I plumbed a braided flex hose to the drain of my air compressor and used one of these to plumb to the compressor tank and one to turn down the end of the drain hose at a shutoff valve. Wanted to make sure the hose didn't spray straight out when I open the drain. I cracked the original 90 degree fitting that came with the flex hose. These came in very handy and I made sure not to over tighten.

Bought but couldn’t use
Picked these up to mount the pool filter pressure gauge at a better angle but with the diameter of the gauge and it’s location, it didn’t work/fit as expected. That’s on me, not the adapters. Maybe I’ll find a use for them in the future so didn’t want to return. Otherwise can’t fault them.

Needed a bit of cleanup, but then worked fine
The pair I purchased looked nice at first glance, but the thread needed to be de-burred. I had a 1/8" NPT die on hand, so I ran it up and down the male thread a couple of times, and it was fine. It seated well on my air compressor regulator and seems to be holding pressure with no leaks. I would purchase again.
