These are just as I remember as a child!! So easy to make for a fast snack & still love the taste!! Rather have these than potato chips as I only need to eat a fraction of these to be satisfied!

Awesome snacks. They're light and airy and fry fast and are not greasy at all. They're perfect for dipping or scooping a seafood salad or dip. Or for toping tuna salad. In fact you can replace any cracker with these or just eat them alone. The boxes may look small but you have to remember when they cook they expand 3 times their size. There's a lot of crisps in these boxes.

I let the number of good reviews outweigh the bad ones to try this brand. The bad reviews were completely correct. The quality of these chips are downright awful, and I wish I'd just gone with a more pricey brand. These chips only soak up the flavor of whatever you cook them in and have no prawn taste at all. And the texture after they've cooled is almost chewy after you bite down and not flaky like other prawn chips I've tried.

These are the authentic shrimp chips that I used to get in Chinese restaurants. The directions for preparation are easy to follow resulting in perfectly cooked chips. They are fun to make and transform from flat discs into big, puffy, colorful and delicious shrimp chips in a matter of seconds. Be sure to get your oil very hot to start then adjust it down as you cook to maintain an even temp. Note that they transform like magic and are fun to prepare with the kids. I like the flavor as they are, but sometimes add a light sprinkle of lemon pepper for an addition touch.

The flavor is very light. But still okay.

If you have only had shrimp chips from a bag these are a wonderful treat. You do have to "cook" them but the taste is so much better. We experimented with putting them in the microwave popcorn popper and they did "poof" but our timing is not perfected so we had mixed results. If you try it, you need less time than you do for popcorn. We watch our salt so this is a healthier option for us. Kids love the different colors.
