These cheap, Far East carburetors are hit or miss, but this is a good one.
I'm lumping all these cheap, Far East carburetors together for this review because I've swapped out several on my lawn equipment: mowers, trimmers, etc.My John Deere riding mower is old af, but it's one of the good ones. It's liquid cooled, has 3 blades, great mower. A "real" John Deere carburetor ordered from the dealership will cost you like $18,000 so I ordered this one for whatever it costs, I can't remember nor can I be bothered to click two or three things to look it up.Bottom line is that they work, at least for one season. You may get a great one and it'll work forever, who knows? My opinion is that while these parts are indeed built to spec, their tolerances are wayyyy bigger than what John Deere (or any other OEM for that matter) would provide. What typically fails in all these small carburetors from the Far East is the diaphragms and interior seals. The diaphragms tear, floats stick, seals leak, etc. That being said, I still buy these cheap pos parts because they do work for the most part. I recommend buying them because they are just so darn cheap, and a carburetor is super easy to swap. And usually they'll come with lots of accessories like spark plugs, filters, primer bulbs, gas and air hoses, etc. which also adds to the value. So here ya go, thanks for reading!!I'm no small engine repair technician, but I'm pretty handy, so take this with a grain of salt.

$300 vs $20
I've ran one of theses carburetors for 3 years no problem. On the reviews they say they'll go bad. My mower started running ruff and after about 10 minutes it just quit. I figured it was the carburetor. So I ordered another for $20 instead of putting the OEM on for $300. Got it back together and it ran great. Then I started smelling gas. Itwas pouring gas from the overflow tube and the top of the carburetor. Come to find out a gas line was leaking and the fuel pump is bad. Theses carburetors are well worth the gamble.

Kept my old John deere running
The mikuni carburetor on my John deere lx188 gave out and rebuilding it didn't help. I gave this inexpensive carburetor a try and it started right up and has been used about 10 times for mowing with no issues. I can't comment on long term durability but at this price I can buy another as it's cheaper than a rebuild kit for the old mikuni and it comes with the fuel shut off selenoid which was inoperable on my original carburetor.

Carb leaked immediately
Installed carb and started leaking right after start up, took all the jets out and installed in my old carb and ran better with no leaks, still cheaper than the $450 factory carb

Misrepresentation on advertisement
This product does NOT come with everything pictured. Received a carburetor, fuel filter 2 clamps and the carb tool. Nothing else. Disappointed, I thought this was a good deal but after waiting a week to get it I’m still on hold ordering additional parts.
