Does the job very well.
Very effective kit - all you need, including an unlisted bottle of acetone, a welcome bonus as I didn't have any. People have said the woven tape is hard to use. I had no problem, and have done a couple of repairs already. I am used to fibreglass on boats, however. This is easier and neater. If you've never used this kind of thing before, perhaps practice on something that doesn't matter. Make sure you have rubber gloves, as you'll probably end up touching it even if you don't plan to. You'll also need an accurate scale, especially if mixing small quantities (I found 3g+1.5g of epoxy was good for a normal repair). Like all epoxies, the mixing proportions are important so don't do it by eye. The scales I used, covered in cling-film for protection, are good to 1/100g. You'll also need some sharp scissors. Having been a bit worried about it, you can just cut the tape cleanly and apply straight away without it unravelling. There's enough in the kit to use several times on small repairs, and I'll probably top up with more mat in the future. Why not four stars? The bottles the epoxy comes in are hard to close - turn too hard and they snap around. Okay if you're careful, and I think I've resaled them okay so far. Just turn until it clicks loose, then turn 320 degrees more until tight. If the vendor is reading this, I'd like to see a "large kit" with a choice of cloth sizes, now I know it works.
