I am very satisfied with these strainers. Exactly what I needed. I make my own soft cheese. I was using cheese cloth before. But I got tired of wasting or washing cheese cloth after use. I use both of these strainers for making soft cheese from a half of gallon of milk. Whey that drains is completely clean. All the cheese stays in the strainer. Highly recommend this product!

Works great for straining kefir, which I make regularly. Works best when you stir the product with clean finger in a circle to isolate the grains for the next batch. Easy clean-up, much better than cheesecloth and/or colander. For me, at least. Product delivery was fine on all counts, everything fine.

I use these strainers for kefir (water and dairy) as well as for straining homemade broths. I am super happy with them! The mesh is fine enough that I don’t need to use cheesecloth to strain my broth, which saves me $! The value for the money is great and I would recommend theae.

Tried using this for sifting granulated sugar, but the mesh is too fine for the crystal size (around 0.5 mm), and static from the plastic causes everything to stick—great for kefir, but not versatile for baking dry goods.

These fine plastic mesh strainers are proper and appropriate for filtering grains to make your next batch of kefir. The tiniest one fits standard mouth jars properly, the middle sized strainer is too large to fit wide mouth jars but fits canning jar funnels properly as well as large gallon size and larger jars and larger bowls properly. The largest funnel will not fit any jars but will fit large bowls properly. The two tabs opposite the handle on each of the funnels function well in keeping the funnels fairly securely attached to the rim of the jar, funnel, or bowl, making them easy to use without needing to hold the strainer by the handle while using them. This allows efficiently using one hand to pour contents into the strainer while allowing the other hand to use a rubber spatula os spoon to work product in the strainer. Having been making kefir for almost 40 years and now tinctures and extracts and concoctions as well, my experience counts and people respect my analysis of products. This is a good quality and practical set at a very fair price.

Drain Too slow / not steady to hang on a bowl keeps falling off. Need to find a good size bowl to hold it
