As someone who loves their pond but not the constant battle against clogging pumps and murky water, I've tried numerous solutions over the years. Well put together. A clear design. The top drawstring works well but I you have to improvise to hold a small pump from falling inside.... I put a long tube, 10", coming out of the pump, put the pump inside the box, tied the drawstring and then supported the tube so it goes above the surface of the pond. This holds the pump in the middle of the volume of the filter box, not touching any of the side. The only thing I'd improve... would be to put a a clip of sorts on the top of the box to hold the pump in place within the box. My set up does this, but it depends on an external long tube... it having the pump itself being held within the box would make it more mechanically secure. EDIT.... one more thing.. the large surface area of the filter helps to keep the water exceptionally clear. The "pond" is a large Behlen 220 gallon tank. It is clear, you can see the goldfish, the plants, the bottom and the light very clearly.

Easy set up. Works great. It keeps the neighbors tree debris out of my pump.

Does the job,my pump fit in it easily. I would of gave it 5 stars but the fabric is slippery material and it un-ties very easily which defeats the purpose. I will just change out the string with cotton to fix the problem. It was a great price.

This is a wonderful idea and would work beautifully but I have ducks in my pond 🤣 Within a week, they had stolen the string that secures it closed and I haven’t seen it since. I bought a different anti-clogging filter cover that has cord locks rather than relying on being tied and they have held up to my ducks much better. If this product had those, it would be perfect!

I've been tired of my pond pumps getting plugged with debris from trees, pollen, etc.. Never knew these. existed. Got it today, took about ten minutes for easy assembly. TIP: As the instructions say, you'll need to push firmly to get the little "pipes" assembled but not hard to do. The nylon mesh then stretches over the assembled frame, put it in the water, put the pump in, tighten the mesh around the pump hose and no more clogged pump! You'll want to take the assembly out once in a while to hose it out from the inside and you're ready to go again. A lot easier than having to take the pump apart every week and take it apart to clean it out. A really good purchase.
