Made in Japan・Mino yaki Ceramic which was made in east region of Gifu prefecture is called Mino yaki. Mino yaki hasa a long history and tradition, and the production of dinnerware accounted for 60% of the nationwide share. Mino yaki’s features is devolping new glaze accoriding to people’s taste in that generation, and creating all kinds of pottery’s shape and color by establishing tecnique.
Therefore, Mino yaki don’t have an obvious features, Mino yaki uses all kinds of tecniques and it is the most used pottery in Japanese life. These pottery made one by one carefully, has a heartwarming taste and this is the attraction of this pottery.

From molding to firing, it is all made in Mino city. Even using the same clay, tecniques and glaze, the coloring always changes by the heat in the kiln during firing, the weather and the humidity, temprature of that day. Such as those conditions always changes, and that is the pottery’s profound, therefore please note that the finish is subtly different one by one.
