I picked this lip gloss up for my 12-year-old, and honestly, the initial unboxing was a bit of a comedy of errors. I was all set to twist the bottom like usual, but nope! Turns out, you have to press it to get the gloss out. I was clicking away like crazy, thinking I was doing something totally wrong because barely anything was coming out. The plastic wrap was also putting up a fight, so I even wondered if some of the product was stuck and blocking things.This press-button thing... I'm not totally sold on it, you know? It feels like you can't really get a good amount out at once, and I'm already picturing the struggle of trying to get the last little bits out when it's almost empty. Plus, it's a one-way street – once you click it up, it's up! Definitely learned that the hard way.The other thing is, I was expecting a nice, smooth finish, but it's got more of a frosty vibe. Not really my personal go-to, but hey, that's just my taste.Now, where this gloss really surprised me – and in a good way! – is how moisturizing it is. It seriously feels like a lip mask, it lasts so long and keeps my lips from getting all dry and flaky, which is usually my biggest problem with lip products. And because it's so hydrating, it gives this amazing shine! The color itself is pretty subtle, but in a way that I actually really, really like. It just makes me look a little more put-together and awake without being too much, you know?You definitely have to remember the whole clicking thing – don't go overboard! I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so I can't say how long it'll last, but it's already become one of those things I just want to have with me all the time.Oh, and the best part? I can just swipe it on without even needing a mirror. Total win in my book!

I was excited to try this when I ordered it. When I got it and looked at it, I was less enthused and didn't expect to like it because it was NOT appealing/attractive looking in the tube, and the color was not going to look good on me. I give the makeup I don't like to the kids to play with and I thought this was definitely going to end up in their collection of cast-offs.I was wrong. And I should have known better, maybe.Like I said... it didn't look very attractive in the package (see photo). When I tested it on the back of my hand, it was very smooth, glossy and lightly pigmented. I really had to use quite a bit of product to get the color on the swatch I provided.IMPORTANT: THIS IS A NON-RETRACTABLE PRODUCT.I am putting that in big bold letters because my stupid butt tried to twist it a few different times before I realized you need to click the bottom and it pushes the gloss up. This is important to note because a little goes a LONG way with this product, probably because of the oil and vitamin e. The little clicky is SUPER satisfying if you like that kind of thing (and I really really do clicky noises). You do not want to get click happy with this product because you can't get it back and you really only need a little bit.The color is subtle. While they say it is buildable, if you want a high color payoff then this is not the product for you. This is not something you want to build because of the consistency of the product. This will give you a touch of color and lots of moisture with a quick swipe. I do not think you should attempt to build the color with this because it will get sticky/uncomfortable the thicker it gets.The gloss was nice. It did look like a gloss and not greasy like some oil-based lip products do. It slides on super smooth. The color is very nice and because it is so sheer I think it has potential to look good on anyone or layer over a higher pigmented product nicely.It left my lips feeling good for a really long time after using it, even though the light color faded. My lips feel pretty good today after using it yesterday. I think it would be very easy to remove.I'm happy. I would order again.

I love lip balms and chapsticks, and tend to look odd if I use a full on lipstick. This is a nice in between. It's got a pigment to where it makes it look like my lips but better. You can just throw this on and go and it does give me a more finished look, with a hint of color, but I don't look overdone or like I'm really wearing makeup. The balm clicks up which is great because then it doesn't twist too high and crack or smush in the lid by accident. The ingredients are moisturizing without it being tacky or sticky. It lasts maybe up to an hour on me without any eating or drinking, but obviously comes off if you eat or drink anything. I do wish it had SPF in it, but that's my only qualm. It has no scent that I could detect and did not irritate my skin at all. I definitely am getting more of these.

Neutrogena High Shine Glossy Lip in Poppy Pink is a fantastic find! Enriched with Maracuja Oil and Vitamin E, it feels incredibly moisturizing and glides on effortlessly without getting sticky. The color is sheer but complements my tan skin beautifully, and I love that it’s buildable for a more pigmented look. Highly recommend!

I really love the color of this lip gloss, but I am not a fan of the design. It is very confusing because the top part of the applicator is clear and you see so much of the product and it looked like the whole thing was sticking out. The lip gloss itself is a beautiful shade of red and looks great on my lips, but it's just way too sticky for my preference. I'm a woman in her 50s so this may be better for someone younger.
