It’s not often a bird toy exceeds my expectations. I got the x-large and this thing is HUGE! I will definitely order again!!I have an extremely destructive Goffin’s Cockatoo and a less destructive Grey. It’s perfect for both of them.Make sure you have a really big cage if you order the extra large. My cages are 30x40 and it takes up a lot of real estate!!

Nice, big and sturdy. Great for birds (Macaw and Lora) to climb and play on as well as chew.

My two Greys love these, but they are kinda pricey to give to them often. It only takes my female a day to destroy one. And I DO mean destroy, as you can see from the photos taken the same day - AM & PM. My male works on his for about 3 days before it's gone. I reserve them for days when I know I'll be more busy and they won't get as much attention as usual.

My blue and gold macaw loves this. The colors are bright and she loves destroying the wood.It's also a great price.

This toy looks good, but I wish the company would list the exact products used. Type of wood, rope, and dye used are all important things to know before buying a toy like this.On the up side, it is very colorful, it seems very strong, and all the bits and pieces are actually hanging on a length of chain with a large ring at the bottom so once this is destroyed, I can hang something else on the chain. I could also hang something else (such as a bell or another toy) from the ring at the bottom.However, there are some knots on here that appear to be made of leather, and since I'm buying this for rats and not birds, I'll have to take those off. So far, it doesn't seem like taking them off will ruin the structural integrity of the toy though.Overall, I'm happy, especially for the reusable chain. I hope the other bird toys I ordered are the same way.Update: I took the leather out and a few small pieces of wood came off. I used strips of fabric from an old shirt to put them back on and it's good as new. I also slipped a few extra pieces of fabric through the chains for foraging :)

My bird Dickens (Yellow collared macaw) only likes toys that he can tear up. He is the 2nd smallest Macaw breed. This toy was quite a bit larger than I expected. It is made of a nice soft wood and he loved it. I ended up buying 6 of them. When I saw how much fun he was having, I placed a 2nd order for 15 more. He tears them up quickly. Each one only last a couple of days. However, it is worth it cause he enjoys them so much. Anything to keep Dickens happy. The only complaint I have is that the screw link used to attach the toy to the cage is of poor quality. The screw links fall apart, or get jammed and will not turn (not even with a pair of pliers). My small parrot tore apart 2 of them. All in all, not such a big deal for me because I have had my parrot for 24 years so I have lots of spare screw links. I took off 1 star for the defective screw links, but other than that, I was very happy with this product. More importantly, Dickens is very happy this product. I would recommend it to others and buy it again as well.

The XXL size of this toy is the only toy I've found that will last my two big macaws more than a few days. These monsters last a month or more and still give the birds hours and hours of chewing fun. They love the varied textures -- my greenwing macaw especially loves the sisal rope. The XL size is perfect for my Moluccan cockatoo and my Congo African Grey, although my M2 can go through one of the XL size toys (the $30 size) in less than 2 weeks! (Remember that just means she loves the toy -- not that it's poorly made.)The pictures I've put in this review are what the toys look like after my birds have put them through their paces. The macaw toys (the two larger toys) are what they look like after about a month. The cockatoo toy (the smaller toy) is what the toy looks like after a week and a half.I've purchased both sizes of this toy several times and will continue to purchase regularly. Hopefully they'll keep both sizes available as it's very difficult to find extra-large toys for big birds.

I never knew Petey was quite the chewer he was until this toy. I've bought a few for out orange winged amazon friend, and I suspect I will go through a few more. It takes him a couple of months to chew it to a pulp, but it sure makes him a happy boy. The toy is quite large and is a goof 12" or so long and about (I'd say) half as wide. It can support the weight of my amazon parrot clinging and swinging from it with ease and it doesn not disappear in proportion to my parrot's size. Take note, however, that you might want a pretty good sized cage to have this toy, since it might swamp a smaller cage. But then again, I hope you don't have this sized bird in a small cage, either. Petey likes that there are many, many, many knots to work in addition to flat and angled chewing pieces. He goes to town on the knots and does quite some beak work chewing (read: destroying) on the blocks. The rope is soft cotton with no parts that could get caught up or tangled on a foot or wing, and the wood is just soft enough not to splinter or crumble away under our parrots chewing fun.

Me encanta este producto por que mi loro lo utiliza muchisimo y le dura. Me gustaria que fuera mas economico y lo compraria mas seguido. Sin lugar a dudas es mejor que el tamaño mediano ya que el mediano se le acaba muy rapido, a pesar de ser un loro pequeño(loro gris del congo). La cadena tiene una argolla enroscable lo cual permite que el loro no pueda tirar el juguete al piso y es mas seguro que las argollas de resorte.

Great toy. I bought it for my African Grey. He seems to love it? Chews on it a lot and it’s still holding up 6 months later. Will buy again soon.

Mi loro gris esta muy feliz con el juguete y hasta ahora de ha durado mas que los demás juguetes para loro que le he comprado. Al principio le causo un poco de miedo pero ahora lo mantiene entretenido por horas. eventualmente comprare uno nuevo cuando gaste este.

La construcción de este juguete es sólida y es bastante segura para cualquier tipo de ave. Tengo un loro cabeza amarilla y le encantó. Es recomendable para que los pequeños jueguen con él por ratos, de otro modo no dura mucho.
