Cappy's normal form is a white top hat with large eyes, with blue wisps of hair coming out the top of it. Under the hat is his main body, which somewhat resembles an Eerie. When transformed into different hats, such as the Mario Cap, Cappy's eyes will appear on the hat. Cappy also comes in a variety of outfits, which can be purchased from the kingdoms' Crazy Cap stores, including a chef hat, top hat, builder hat, and a fedora.

It is a little large on him but still wearable. I thought he would just play with it at home and eventually it would end up on a shelf in his room. Well, no way! He always wears it. My daughter and son in law do not mind if he wears it when they go out. And now that it is warmer and sunny out it is great to shade the sun from his eyes. He looks adorable in it. He has worn it almost daily for weeks now and it is still looks new. I do not understand how it stays so clean but it does not show any dirt on it! I would definitely recommend this Cappy hat!

This Cappy hat from Super Mario Odyssey surpassed my expectations. This is not the cheap nylon caps sold in stores; this one is plush and stuffed so it maintains its shape and realism. My son was beside himself when he received for his birthday. We were all very impressed with its quality and realism. It fits my average sized 6 year old very well, and also fits adults with smaller heads. Great value for the price!
