I have had down pillows before that simply don’t have enough support. Especially in the middle of the night when everything‘s compressed and I literally feel like there’s no pillow under my head. However, I do prefer this down over any of the artificial fillers. I like the fact that it’s so ultra soft like silk. Plus, I can’t stand having a pillow that retains heat and causes me to wake up drenched in sweat. So I wanted to go back to having a down pillow, but hoping to find one with a little bit more support. I found this pillow definitely fits the bill since it has a combination of down and feather in it. It is more of a medium firmness. It gives you that great downy fluff, but holds it shape for longer and better. Between the cotton cover and the quality of the materials inside I haven’t had to deal with small feathers poking through and pricking me.
