I purchased this item to go on window in young daughter’s bedroom. I found the item easy to install. The instructions are simple to follow. It took less than 5 minutes to install. The size of the item works well with my windows but measure up before buying to ensure it will fit! Item feels decent quality and it has worked on my windows and allows the window to only open so far before then locking into place. If my daughter ever got close to the window, she wouldn’t be able to push it further open or disconnect the item in any way. It feels sturdy on the window frame. I do feel a bit safer knowing it’s on the window. This item protects one side of the window. You would need to purchase more to protect both sides. But, we just keep one side permanently locked and then open the protected side safely. The adhesion to window frame feels good and I don’t think my daughter would be able to pull it off. Not before us noticing anyway! Based on current use, it’s something I would recommend to other parents.

A good quality, solid item. I use it to stop my indoor cat getting out when the window is open. It is easy to install using the extra strong sticky pads

We use these to keep the cat from escaping but still allows the air to flow through. Easy to fit and do exactly what they say.

Very good, works well and extremely robust

If like me you have a ermmmm chunky large cat they no good. I have a Norwegian forest cat cross and she just popped it off by putting her weight against the window. Another problem is the adhesive isn't good at all, they do pop off easy. Here's the culprit who wants a bid for freedom, I will be buying screw in restrictors I just need someone to fit them. So yes not good for large cats

Found easy to install and work very well.I have a cat that would try to jump from the window, I am on the second floor.So these are ideal to let air in and stop cat getting out

Excellent! So far so good, instructions were simple enough to follow, just make sure the positioning is correct (test window extension and locking prior to peeling off adhesion pads) before sticking down. You can place the main piece of restrictor higher or lower (or on a normal window, more to the left or right) to make the gap as large as you want it. I placed mine higher as my big cats can't fit through the widest gap possible but my kittens could. I may attempt to reposition when they're bigger, but for the sake of an inch I don't think I'll bother😂 They've been loving the fresh air. Clever design - can easily slide to lock and remove the lock to open fully. Will definitely buy a couple more for other windows in the house.
