Pain and stress-free! The Best!!!
This is the best paper stack cutter for me! I had purchased a couple other ones and had to return them for some many reasons. The We R Makers cutter so much easier, durable and accurate than any other. It’s not as heavy but it is sturdy and it gets the job done without causing me pain or stress. Great price too! Not too big but cuts all sizes needed. Made from good quality material. I am really happy with this purchase!

Working as designed
Finally a Cutter then is sharp, cuts the correct size and is easy to set up. One thing to check is the screws on the bottom where the rubber feet are, make sure they are screwed in very well. Otherwise the screw will scratch whatever surface you use it on.

Serious cutting!
I’ve been making junk journals lately for gifts and wanted something to even out the edges without having to cut 1-3 pages at a time. This “guillotine” cutter works remarkably well. The price point is significant but I felt it was worth it for the amount of cutting of paper and chipboard that I do. It slices through chipboard like butter. My only minor “complaint” is that it’s leaving the bottom piece (paper or cardstock) not fully cut thru. I’ve worked around this by placing a piece of 110 lb paper at the bottom of whatever I’m cutting and it does the trick. I slide the 110 lb paper along bit by bit so that I’m only cutting a sliver at a time and can continue to use the same piece til I get to the end. CAUTION: the cutting blade is sharp, very, VERY sharp and should not be accessible by children or anyone not knowledgeable of how it works. I’m hoping that the blade remains sharp for a long time as the replacement cost of a blade is substantial. I shopped around for this item and found that Amazon had the best price and since I’m a Prime member FREE shipping (significant savings). So far I’m loving my Cinch Stack.

Heavy-Duty Paper Cutter With the Strength of a Wet Cracker and the Attitude of a Bear Trap
I have spent thousands of dollars on We R Makers products. HSN, Amazon, OfficeSupplies.com, eBay—if it has their name on it, I’ve probably bought it, adored it, and justified it like it was a “business expense” and not just me funding my craft room’s villain origin story. So when I needed a heavy duty paper cutter—something with a little more authority—I did my homework. I read reviews. I waited for shipping like a Victorian lady waiting on a letter from the front lines. I was ready. The box showed up yesterday and sat there all day, staring at me like a treasure chest. I even moved it to the stairs so I could stop looking at it and pretending I had self-control. Finally, after a brutal workday, my husband carried it to the craft room and I got to do what I wanted most: make crafts, not experience emotional damage. Unboxing time. The box is hefty. Everything inside is taped down like they were worried God Himself might try to disassemble it mid-shipment. I get it out without incident. A cheater pipe falls out and hits my glass-top table with a thud like a weapon in a crime documentary. I shrugged. “Heavy duty,” I thought. Promising. There’s a wheel you have to install for the paper guide. No problem—hex key, five minutes, done. I’m standing there admiring this absolute unit of a paper demolisher like I just adopted a pet tiger. Test cut #1: I slide in a single piece of paper. It slices like butter. A perfect 1-inch strip falls onto the table. I’m thrilled. I’m unstoppable. I’m basically a paper-cutting influencer now. Then I graduate to the real job: a stack of letter-sized cardstock that printed weird A4 images with margins. I load six sheets like the confident, capable adult I pretend to be. Six sheets go in. Six sheets come out… crooked as a politician’s promise. Okay. User error. Fine. Maybe I didn’t tighten the guide thingy enough. I try again. Flip them around. And yes—straight this time. Clean cut. No margins. We’re back in business. And then… it happened. The safety mechanism locked and would not disengage. Not “stiff.” Not “tight.” Not “needs a little wiggle.” No. This thing locked down like it was protecting national secrets. I tapped. Turned. Pushed. Pulled. Lifted. Lowered. Whispered sweet nothings. Considered bribery. This cutter did not care. A bullet wouldn’t have persuaded it. So I contact support. They say: “Send a picture.” A picture of… what? The concept of a stuck safety lock? Would you like a tasteful portrait of my disappointment? Maybe a panoramic shot of my patience evaporating? At this point, I walked out of the room like a woman leaving a toxic relationship—quietly, but with rage simmering in my bloodstream. I contacted Amazon immediately: return this POS. Refund only. Do not send me another one. I would rather cut paper using my teeth and spite. This morning, I go back in there trying to figure out how to re-box it with the handle sticking up like the world’s dumbest periscope. My husband comes in, calmly attempts the safety mechanism (because he’s emotionally stable), and agrees: this is pure, unfiltered fecal matter. Finally—because apparently I like living dangerously—I did the one thing you’re not supposed to do: I stuck my finger under the blade near the safety mechanism. There’s a little spring down there that was snagged. I pried it around until I could lower the blade again, then announced: “DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING. LET’S GET THIS THING BACK IN THE BOX BEFORE IT CHANGES ITS MIND.” UPS picked it up a couple hours later. So now I’m sitting here: without a heavy duty paper cutter possibly snowed in for the next week and Amazon says they can’t replace it until the 29th Which is adorable, because I already told them I don’t want a replacement. I want a refund and emotional compensation for the audacity. Bottom line: It cut one sheet beautifully, then immediately transformed into a locked bear trap masquerading as a crafting tool. If you enjoy products that work for five minutes before ruining your day, this is the one. ⭐ 1 star — because it did cut paper once, before it decided it was done being employed.

Should work better
I love the brand and I have many items. This machine was a little bit of a let down for how much it cost. It cuts regular paper fine, but it is a struggle to cut chipboard straight thorough. The material gets scrunched up at the top which does not make a good finished product. I had high hopes.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
I was debating many different brands before settling with this paper cutter and I’m so glad I did! The first time I used it I cut about 40 sheets of cardstock. It cut so smoothly that I was still pressing thinking something was wrong with it, not realizing it had already cut cleanly through all of the sheets already! I’m still learning the best pressure to hold the paper down and the arm that you use to line up the paper on needed some tweaking to get nice and straight, but overall it has been exactly what I ordered! It is pretty heavy but I did expect that for the type of cutter it is, and I love the color compared to the boring black and white options of other brands. I’ll update if needed but so far, it’s awesome!

Don't buy
So this cutter was pretty amazing at first. Within a few weeks I had an issue with it actually wanting to cut all the way through and I wasn't even trying to do a ton of papers at a time. It would crunch up the edge of the paper on one end and then leave it frayed along the edge that I'd cut. Having reached out to the company twice for that issue and gotten a response today. I'm using it because I use this nearly everyday for my business and it just breaks. The red security knob just rotates. The blade will not come down. I've tried to troubleshoot again. I've reached out to the company. No response. Of course. My return window closed yesterday. So frustrated because this was supposed to make my life easier. It was expensive and it's been nothing but a nightmare

Vale la spesa
Ottimo prodotto. Taglio molto preciso. Non l'ho sperimentato su pochi fogli, ma quando si tratta di pareggiare quaderni o altre tipologie di manufatti da legatoria, non sbaglia un colpo.

This is a great cutter, as a crafter I have a number of different cutters for different things but it be honest I could do it all with this one. It cuts perfectly and with ease. I love that i can cut all the papers at once for my journals and albums
