The design and build quality is looks quite good. I like that the grip is metallic; it makes the pencil feel more solid when gripping it.

What works well • Consistent line & tip: Because of the rotation mechanism, you get less of that chisel-flattened lead tip, which helps your lines stay more consistent and avoids nasty breaks. • Premium feel / grip: The knurled metal grip gives traction and a more solid feel compared to cheap plastic pencils. • Good value for refills: The kit version includes many (60 lead refills, several eraser refills) so you’re not just paying for the pencil body. • Stylish / premium aesthetics: In pen-nerd circles, many cite the Elite as a favourite for combining function with a classy look. What to watch out for / Cons No tool is perfect. These are some caveats or downsides I picked out: • Eraser is small / weak: The eraser that comes with it is too tiny or wears out fast. • Cost vs simpler models: Because the Elite version is more premium, you pay more for things (metal parts, finish) which some feel are not strictly necessary for everyday use. • Mechanism noise / subtlety: The rotation is subtle. If you twist your hand or shift how you write, you may reduce the benefit. In heavy rotation it behaves more like a regular mechanical pencil. • Lead breakage (still possible): It doesn’t make lead unbreakable. I have occasional breaks, especially with pressure or low durability leads. • Supply of special lead / refills: The “diamond-infused” leads that they promote may be more limited or cost more. standard 0.5 mm leads are usable but may not perform as well with the mechanism.
