Vinylux Longwear Pink Nail Polish, Gel-like Shine & Chip Resistant Color, 0.5 Fl Oz

3/27/2026: CND’s Vinylux in “Negligee“ is a beautiful sheer pink (non-gel) regular nail polish, perfect for my natural nails. Exactly what I wanted based on the description which reads: “Sheer, shimmer pink pearl nail polish; an opalescent baby pink. Very subtle shimmer, pearl, & opalescence, & that’s great for me because I would have loved it even if it were completely flat. In fact, I’m now looking to purchase another Vinylux sheer soft pink that is completely flat. I saw some reviews complaining that it’s not opaque & too sheer even after 3-5 coats. This is 100% true, but that’s exactly what the “Product Details” describe it to be under the “Top Highlights” section. If it wasn’t sheer, I would’ve never purchased it. I received it yesterday, & painted my nails last night. This does look like an American (French) manicure on my nails, but I assure you it is not. It’s just how sheer polish looks on longer nails when the tips are naturally white (& a cool nail hack too). I didn’t use alone. I properly filed & buffed, acetone to dehydrate, 1 coat of ORLY Rubberized Base Coat, 2 thin coats of Negligee color, 1 Coat of the CND Shine Top Coat, rhinestones, 1 coat of ORLY Quick Dry Top Coat after curing the rhinestones to secure, & cuticle oil. I waited 9-10mins between each coat with a fan (3 mins only after base to ensure tackiness still present). I included 2 photos from last night right after I finished & added some rhinestone embellishments with rhinestone gel glue & a uv light to cure (all 3 also purchased on Amazon). The last photo is my nails with only clear polish a few wks earlier for color reference. Polish went on easy & very smooth, not too thin/thick, no streaks, nice size brush too. $12 is an ok price if it actually lasts a week w/o chipping. Next time I’ll try without the ORLY base & ORLY top coat to evaluate the CND Vinylux duo on its own, but I didn’t want to risk it not lasting this time, or risk the rhinestones falling off before my event. Stars are for color & application. I will come back & update in a week or 2 once I know how it wears, which may affect # of stars. Hope all these details help! :-) 💅🏽🙂 4/3/2026: So I kept the polish on 1 week, but didn’t keep it for longer because the top coat & edges were starting to wear as you can see on the last photo I uploaded from 4/3. Overall I still think it’s a good non-gel polish for natural nails. Next time I will not use a base coat as suggested, & only the matching top coat,

Negligee #132 - a beautiful nude pink that perfectly highlights your natural nails. I used (3) coats to achieve this coverage and if you use too much it will streaks, so thin coats and waiting to let them dry in between gave me the best results. Worth noting, for this image I used: CND Strengthener Rxx Fortifiant Rxx + CND Cuticle Eraser + CND Vinylux (Negligee) + CND Vinylux (Long Wear Shine Top Coat) + CND Solar Oil

I always get this CND Tutti Frutti color at my nail salon. Today I removed the polish I purchased here and my nails turned orange! Thank GOD I was able to buff out a bit, but the color is dull. Very disappointed!

I’ve been looking for a semi-sheer milky nude pink and this is it! Beau is an easy-to-apply sheer light pink with a very subtle shimmer that makes it appropriate for work or play and any age group. Pros: easy to apply, looks natural and polished, low scent, removes easily, long lasting with Vinylux Top Coat and if nails are prepped, flattering on very light skin, no streaking, dried quickly Cons: pricey, but it lasts; cruelty-free status unknown, dries quickly in the bottle; seller should include descriptions about each shade’s opacity and finish. Tips: Studio white is a pretty semi-sheer white for a clean nude nail. For opaque cream nude pinks, try Skin Tease. Winter Glow. Nude Knickers. Field Fox, Satin Pajamas, and Clay Canyon are flattering neutrals. Romantique is the only shade I’ve tried that is too tricky for my very amateur skill level. Prep nails as you would for gel nails (trim back cuticles, alcohol wipe, sanding block a few times) use very thin coats, open no more than 1-2 shades at a time as they dry out quickly. Bottom line: Highly recommended for DIY manicures and to save money.

This is a great polish! Lasts over a week, and all you have to do is brush it on. It dries pretty quickly, too. It’s great. This color is very clean looking and looks super refined. You’ll love it!

Edit: I ordered Negligee too and it is definitely my favorite. It is super sheer so it elevates my natural nails into such a lovely look. It is so effortless in the look and honestly in application and how EASY it is as well. It dries super nice and pretty quick. My thumbnails took the longest. It does have an obvious blue sparkle in the bottle, but it doesn’t show up once on the nail at all. I honestly think the blue hue helps neutralize and cancel out yellow tint to the nail and brightens them up. I have attached a number of photos (sadly it only lets you post one video) in hopes it will help some of you out… the video has a funny ending :,) Grapefruit Sparkle #118 is a nice balance between sheer and opaque. It has a really nice relaxed sparkle to it that isn’t too much, or holographic like my other nude pink nail color I was using before. I like both, but I wanted this more coral nude. It definitely has some sheerness to it, but wouldn’t look bad with one coat. I applied two coats and one layer of clear top coat and that’s perfect for the look I’m going for. A french tip added to these would look really lovely too. This polish seems to be really nice quality and you should just use a little and build up the coverage with coats as thin as you can get them. The bottle came completely full and not spilled or used whatsoever, really nice and secure packaging as well. I would definitely order from them again. I have Negligee on the way already as well. I’ll have to update later, but I’m really tough on my hands and nails so it’s not always the polish’s fault. Good luck finding what you’re looking for everybody!

I loveeee the sparkle!!! Lasted on my fingers for at least a week and on my toes for weeks! The only reason I docked stars was because you have to apply a good amount of coats and once it dries the color/sparkle is extremely light for me. You almost can’t tell I have nail polish with this on my toes unless it’s outside or in the bright light. And it leaves a metallic look rather than a sparkle look. However, I think if you apply it on top of another color it would like gorgeous ! I just wanted it to look like the bottle when it dries.

I love the quality of this nail polish. The colour is true to the picture and is long lasting and easy to apply.

This colour is not a bright pink. It is a dull pink with orange tint. Very disappointed.
