Amazon alert said not for this car. But I can confirm it is. When I took the old filter off I could make out ..BMW...OX 404

Wrong part
Amazon say it would fit my bmw 3 series 2017 2L diesel, unfortunately it did not fit there needs to be a plastic slot within the filter which allows it fall in place ,which this filter does not have.

I always use the Mahle OX 404D oil filter when changing my 2014 BMW 535d engine oil. City’s perfectly, an OEM replacement for the BMW filter. As noted, it is correct for the N57 Diesel Engine in my 2014 BMW 535d. Nut said, Highly Recommended
