Exactly what it says works perfectly

Surprisingly good performer for the price. This unit is small; however it seems to produce the rated amperage based on my experience with weld penetration. This works well for smaller jobs (only accepts smaller wire spools - not the 10 pound size). Also, consider running on a 30 amp circuit if you want the full performance of this welder. Does it weld on a standard 115 15amp circuit? Yes, but with limited power. The wire feed was a bit finicky at first, but is working fine now, this is a good small welder once you get the hang of the settings and know its limitations.

Poorly manufactured plastic MIG connector strips and no longer secure after 2 months. Contacted company twice. No customer service, no response. Connector is non standard cannot repair or replace connector. Strongly advise against this unit and this manufacturer.

This is a great welder for at-home use! My husband is using this to teach our teen sons to weld and so far it is working great with no issues. Everything shown in the item description is included in this set - it's ready to use out of the box. This is a durable machine, definitely built to last. It's also easy to use and great to teach with. You really can't go wrong with this price point, it's a whole lot of machine and accessories for the price it's offered at. It's been great seeing my sons learn a new skill, and see their creative juices flow with what they can use it for next. Would definitely recommend.

The welder's fit and finish are decent, but the packaging was poor. The stick welder lead's insulation broke to pieces in the box. The clamp looks awful as well with the tiny pin holding the halves together backing out. Now, damage aside, the welder looks fine, the fit and finish are excellent, dials are smooth and it turns on. At some point when I've tested it, I'll update the review, should be pretty soon. I really do hope to be impressed enough to increase rating despite the damaged clamp.

I did not used it yet. Looks well build. The manual does not describe the welder as a aluminum welder as stated on amazon. It just state mig 160. I believe that the advertise get more info on the product. I need this welder to rebuild my caravan. Aluminum frames I wanted to construct because wood rot is a big problem. Hope this welder make me proud.

This is a good aluminum mig welder for the DIYer. It makes a great weld and it’s easy to control. This is great for repairs and DIY projects. I would not use this for commercial high volume jobs as it will shut off from over use. Some of the parts are great for light duty use, but heavy duty use will wear them out quickly and require replacement. So great beginner DIY welder that also does Aluminum.
