Already owned the original pyrite light and loved it so much. It was very excited when the XL came out and it did not disappoint. Great action quality made should make a great EDC. It’s a big boy.

It's a larger knife than I had expected for sure. It's similar in size to a spyderco PM 2 or a large Griptillian. It's pretty light and the button lock it very sturdy which no blade play. I like the blade finish and the g-10 handle is very comfortable and contoured with no hot spots. the pocket clip is not a ultra deep carry but it shows very little in the pocket. It also has a reversible pocket clip so lefties rejoice. Very smooth opening although I do intend on getting skiff bearings for this knife which would be almost half the price of this, lol. My only wish is that they would make this knife with out the additional safety button. I don't need it and I'm sure other feel the same way too. I more times than not accidentally engage said safety and wonder why I cant close the blade, fat thumbs. Anyways I do like the the balde shape and overall design. Another winner from CJRB.

I've been really wanting this knife but I had the smaller version and lost that recently so ordered this on sale but something must be wrong with the bearings because you couldn't open it very well the action was horrible. And the secondary button lock I hate it it's nice so you don't have to worry about it opening in your pocket but you are constantly going to hit it with your thumb when opening the blade and closing it I wish they get rid of it. so ordered a replacement and Hope to write a better review

This cjrb folder is my go to carry pocket knife. The size is perfect for me. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space in the pocket. It arrived "shaving sharp". I really like the lock above rhe button lock. You can lock it open or closed. It took very little time to get used too it. I would highly recommend this blade.

Great knife.

I’m happy with both the Pyrite Large Lite and the regular Pyrite Lite. The Large has the safety which I accidentally engage sometimes but otherwise they are both great and super slicey. I’m a fan of Ultem and the Amber FRN is actually a pretty good looking substitute for it.

Cjrb I’ve got several. I’m a collector of over 350 Pocket knives. I’ve always been a fan of CJRB and Artisan Cutlery. Never had any problems until today! Opened up the box deployed the blade to check out this new secondary lock system for the button lock and the Spring for it was apparently not in place correctly and it sprung out making the knife completely unusable. I took it completely apart thinking maybe I could get it in correctly, with no luck it’s going back! I’m getting a replacement so I will definitely have to revisit this review but for now 1 star!!

I’ve had everything from a rat 2 to a grimsmo Norseman and this might the best knife dollar for dollar I’ve ever had.
