Fits well and not to heavy
Fit really well and is light weight. I was a little skeptical when I first tried it on. It's not an expensive felt hat more like heavy cardboard with a texture. I didn't think I would like it at first because the crown is a little taller than I'm used to. BUT the more I wore it the more I liked it and started decorating it. I have worn it in 90° heat with no problem. I call it my" ART HAT. " I wear it for inspiration when I'm creating something. I also write positive, meaningful things on it when I feel like I need to remember to be positive. Kinda steampunk with a twist. Definitely worth the money.

Great for cosplay or costume
I bought this for a Halloween costume to create a more elaborate hat and I must say this hat fit the bill and then some. The hat is not super hard but is definitely sturdy enough to hold it's shape, the hat also has a pretty large opening to accommodate large heads and I know I have a pretty large head and this hat fit me comfortably. I can't actually say anything bad about the hat other than it's hard to tell between the front and the back, there is a slight difference in the side edge curvature so this is definitely a directional hat. Other than that the hat is great for what it is and if you take care of it I anticipate you keeping or using this hat for other costumes for years to come.

Runs a little small for an average adult
Was a little small for my head. But it looked great...just wasn't real comfortable because it was too small.

Fun, eccentric, versatile, easy to decorate, and easy to wear
I needed a version of a top hat for a costume of a Victorian lady equestrian to ride in a pageant and couldn't find one that was within budget. This cute hat fit the bill for value and appeal, was well within my budget and dressed out well for my use. I needed to put an inside band for a better fit, so it stayed on my head. I wore it in the parade and felt quite happy with the hat. It gets 4 stars for Sturdiness - it will crush, so a hatbox is needed if you want to store it. It's a rather flimsy felt fabric, but that also makes it good for modifying if you choose to do so.
