Takes about 15 seconds for the temperature to stabilize...Quickly gets real hot for a few seconds then turns cold again for about 3-4 seconds...eventually stabilizing after 10 to 15 seconds. AND NO my faucet does not have pressure or temperature balance/regulation. So much for instant hot water! A stable heated temperature was achieved by old school plumbing in about 5 seconds. The electric is fed into the case via a 1/2 electrical conduit fitting. To access the wire connections, simply remove the 3 screws on the bottom of the case and lift the cover off. The unit produces good hot water instantly.
