After the tire store failed to return the original one for my daughter's 2012 VW Beetle, I snapped a photo of the security lug mounted on her wheels and matched it to pattern #521 shown on this listing. (your number may vary, as there are multiple patterns per vehicle for security) The fit was perfect, but I was concerned it might be soft metal and not hold up to use as is the case with many other cheap replacements. Fortunately, this one is very robust, with no damage beyond some minor scratches after using with both a breaker bar and a heavy duty impact wrench to test its strength. The first three photos are of it new/as received. As you can see in the fourth photo with the white background showing its condition after several uses, it held up nicely and did not damage the original security lugs either, as seen by the one pictured next to it. This is a suitable long term replacement and much less expensive than buying a whole new set of security lugs.
