This backpack is exceptional, considering the low price tag. We went from the skip hop bag to this and there def is an increase in size, without this bag being what I would consider “full size”. I took a picture of it with an apple for scale (no bananas handy) so you can judge. It has has an inside pocket, which is nice. (No pockets or dividers in the front section.) The sewing seam on the name patch is rather sloppy (see pic) and the unicorn on the front has some loose threads which really bother me. (They look insignificant in pictures but are much more noticeable in person- see pics of light green section of unicorn’s hair.) The iron on name decals are a nice touch. I haven’t tried them yet. My daughters name ends up being only 3 colors. It would be nice if the second sheet of letters provided is a mix of different colors so that awkward color patterns can be avoided. Lastly, I took a picture of the bag with the matching lunch pail inside. It technically fits, but you’re not getting much else in there.

This is a really cute backpack, so it gets 4 stars for that. The ironing of the letters gave me anxiety because I read other reviews about burning them. So, I was as careful as could be and still burned 3 of my 7 letters, even with parchment paper underneath! I’m glad I chose to do this in private because I did not want my excited 5 year old to hear me groaning and cussing as I’m trying to scrape off the burned letters and go for a re-do. The re-do gave me more anxiety because it was my last chance to make it work. It’s not perfect and I’m a perfectionist, but at least it’s readable.

This is the most adorable backpack. My soon-to-be kindergartner loves it! The colorful iron-on letters are a cute touch. The straps are nicely padded, and the fabric is thick and feels very durable. Nice details, like the yellow rubber accents on the zipper pulls. I would have expected to pay more for a bag of this quality!

the bag is small, the zippers are really cheap. overall quality is pretty much average at best.. Its way to expensive for the cheap quality you get. i wish i hadn't bought it.

My daughter loves it

My 5 year old loves it. The two cup holders means she can take her water bottle to school and take a drink for lunchtime too. She can fit in her home reader plus cardigan and any other bits she needs for school. She loves the colour and enjoyed watching us iron her name onto the front:-) a brilliant bag!

I am happy with my purchase, bag was the right size for my 4 year old. I enjoyed jazzing the bag up with the letters. Will update review when we have used the bag for a while.

Beautiful colour and design. Great size for my daughter's things to take to reception class each day. Not too big to carry on her back and not too small.

Ein wirklich schöner Rucksack. Meine Tochter sagt, es sei der bequemste Rucksack den sie je hatte. Ein A4 Heft passt genauso gut rein wie alles was man zu einer Pyjamaparty braucht. Die Reißverschlüsse wirken stabil und gut verarbeitet. Die Nähte sind ebenfalls gut verarbeitet. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich natürlich erst in ein paar Monaten etwas sagen
