Here’s what to know
This knife and sheath Combo only has one con but let’s do the pros first. The blade is sharp and durable. The curved full tang construction just adds to the reliability of this knife. The free lifetime sharpening is also a big plus. This knife is slightly smaller than the Kbar TDI which works well for me because I want it to be concealed. I use it on my inner belt and place my duty belt over it. My magazine pouches conceal the knife perfectly without restricting access to the knife. Now the one con to the purchase...The Sheath sucks! Almost 50% of the time I have went hands on with someone I have noticed the knife was out of the retention point on the sheath. On 2 occasions it actually fell out. I contacted benchmade about my issue as I wouldn’t expect this from this company and I was ghosted by them. I went to a local kydex shop and they made me a sheath for $15 bucks that fits all my needs.

Excellent execution of the last-ditch concept
I looked at less costly options like the KBAR TDIs. Reviews there mentioned the lack of confidence in the holster. Benchmade & KBAR (I'm sure) are sturdy, durable knives -- that part is handled.Given how sharp these knives are, knowing that the blade will stay in the sheath is paramount. I also need to know that the knife is where I left it, in the event that I ever have to draw it. Nobody expressed doubts about the Benchmade staying put, so I bought it.

Good but has flaws
I love this knife sharp as hell but if you clip it on the back, it is so hard to get it back in, it’s the most comfortable spot for me but be careful!

Self defense knife
It’s a Benchmade so you know it’s a quality knife, but as always they cost more. Sharp out of the box and sheath is sturdy and holds the knife securely. Great knife for self defense.

Nice low priced Benchmade.
Nice little knife. The blade is made tough and it's really sharp.I like the blade-to-handle angle. It's a good design that offers a lot of versatility for this style of knife. The handle scales are plastic but that's not a big surprise for a Benchmade at this low if a price. The Kydex sheath works well.

Great definsive blade
This is a very solid offering from Benchmade. Especially for the price. It fits the hand well, is sharp, and has a nice sheath. I wish the handle scales were completely flush, but that is just a very minor gripe.

Never had anything bad to say about Benchmade
Never had anything bad to say about Benchmade, and don't today.I love the size of this, it is tactical in look, but a lot of online reviews say it would be best as a utility knife which is exactly what I bought it for. You mileage may vary in terms of out of the box sharpness (as all knives tend to have some variation), but this is the first knife I bought that sliced phonebook paper with and against the grain, out of the box.

Big value.
I own quite a few Benchmades, and this one really caught my eye. It's small, with a small grip, but it's concealable. The clip grips a leather belt really well. I have large hands, so I attached a paracord box knot lanyard through the lanyard hole, and That lengthens the grip a bit.
