The mounting screws for these picatinny rails, regardless of manufacturer, are not the correct length for the 4 mounting holes on the various Mossberg shotguns. To have a perfect fit it will be necessary to disassemble the shotgun down to a bare receiver. You want to be able to see the underneath side of the mounting holes. I used a Dremel tool with a sanding disc and then an oxide/rubber polishing ball to cut each screw to the right length. The screw is the right length when it is mounted and flush with the underneath side of the receiver. Once mounted with blue Loctite the assembly will not move and there will be no interference with the operation of the shotgun. I torqued my screws to 15 inch-pounds. It's work, but you can sleep at night knowing it's a perfect job and will last the life of the shotgun. I mounted my picatinny rail to a Mossberg 590. **Q: will this fit a mossberg 930? I was told it would.** A: Yes, That's what I have. **Q: Will this fit on a saiga 12ga?** A: Does it have a receiver like a Mossberg shotgun or an AK.... **Q: how does this PRO model differ from the cheap and regular model of this product?** A: This one looks a bit smoother. The screw holes on the rail line up with the four screws on top of the receiver. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another Impressive Rail Item From UTG PRO. *by D***. on May 3, 2022* I'm liking this made in the USA PRO line of UTG accessories. I had to also order an 8-40 tap, as this is for my Maverick 88 which does not come drilled and tapped from the factory. I'm a Gunsmith so it was easy enough to do this in my shop on the drill press with the right set up. I've never done a Maverick receiver before and was surprised by how thick it was. We're talking a quarter inch plus! If I'd had a bottom tap instead of a plug tap I could have done the installation without drilling and tapping through the entire receiver wall, or ceiling as it were. The included screws could have been a bit longer and it would have been nice. I'd rather them too long as could be shortened to perfect rather than not long enough to entirely fill the void of threaded portion. I will likely replace with properly fitted down screws at a future date, but it is not likely these ones would fail under recoil. Running a vortex venom on the rail so not any issues with weight, I just like perfectly fitted screws. I'd definitely recommend this picatinny rail. I like the made in the USA part too.
