UTG PRO Made in USA Model 500® Shotgun Picatinny Rail Mount

Actually annoying trying to find a quality rail strip for my Shockwave. This was the answer. Tried Monstrum. Piece of crap. Their qc is disrespectful. It was milled wrong. Didnt have screws or a tool to instal. It was a bad fit. Etc. This UTG is the exact opposite. It is well milled. T marked. Form fitted. Came with durable high quality screws that did not get stripped when I torqued them down string. The allen key is provided and strong it did not bend. Perfect fit. Perfect product. Thank you UTG!

I bought this to mount a RDS on my 590S. It fits perfectly and was very easy to install. The screw holes on the rail line up with the four screws on top of the receiver.

I'm liking this made in the USA PRO line of UTG accessories. I had to also order an 8-40 tap, as this is for my Maverick 88 which does not come drilled and tapped from the factory. I'm a Gunsmith so it was easy enough to do this in my shop on the drill press with the right set up. I've never done a Maverick receiver before and was surprised by how thick it was. We're talking a quarter inch plus! If I'd had a bottom tap instead of a plug tap I could have done the installation without drilling and tapping through the entire receiver wall, or ceiling as it were. The included screws could have been a bit longer and it would have been nice. I'd rather them too long as could be shortened to perfect rather than not long enough to entirely fill the void of threaded portion. I will likely replace with properly fitted down screws at a future date, but it is not likely these ones would fail under recoil. Running a vortex venom on the rail so not any issues with weight, I just like perfectly fitted screws. I'd definitely recommend this picatinny rail. I like the made in the USA part too. Worth every penny.

Fits good, but doesn't hug the receiver like I hoped it would. It fits good overall though. Only real downside is it doesn't follow the curve of the receiver so it kinda leaves a gap, or hangs. It's solid but just bugs me.

Please don’t waste money on more expensive rails.. this is perfect for the BAT Black Aces Tactical family of shotguns. I am currently outfitting two of the S Series Arm braced 12g mini in a 10” barrel and the S braced in 14 inch barrel. I really read the reviews. And everyone said the screws wouldn’t work. NEWSFLASH... take out the tap screws first and it will work easier . I am the worlds worst handyman and I new that. Come one.. we have YouTube lmao! End of story. If you want an optic on your boss berg.. ;) then please use these ... don’t over tighten them or they will crack but you have two spares just in case. I use a see all with a delta and horizontal azimuth. Since they added tritium it’s just eerily easy to put fire on target. Just buy the rails... if you spend 50+$$ on one rail you know you either didn’t read this review or didn’t head the precautions. But the rails are top shelf .. if you really wanted to you could put tow mounts with a magnifying agent and a red dot. Plenty of room.

Searching picatinny rails on Amazon you find some that in the reviews people mention it doesn't fit, or the screws are too big, for a Mossberg 500 (bought in 2024). Not this one. It has a great price and it fits my 500 perfectly. The screws are fine. I recommend it.

This is pretty good actually. Better than the Mossberg rail, and better than the Monstrum one. Very solid and well designed.

Works for Canuck Defender! I bought this hoping the curvature of the underside of the rail would fit the Canuck Defender. Sure enough, it did, and I drilled and tapped the receiver to match the holes on the rail. I also tested the spacing of the rail, and it fits picatinny accessories perfectly.

This is a beautiful rail. Fits the 500 and the 930 except that you need to grind 1/8” off of two screws to fit the 930

Mounted this on to my 590 and it fit perfectly. Came with hardware aswell; Very pleased.
