Mostly I use it to load my long heavy chopper in and out of my enclosed trailer when I need to travel. It’s plenty strong but for my bike I screw a piece of 3/4 plywood to it because I know I’m putting a lot of weight in 2 small areas and I like the solid platform to put my feet on. The ramp also carries my ATV and my garden tractor very well. It’s made loading easier and it works well. There are ramps that work just as well at a significantly lower cost. This might not be affordable for everyone. Review: Long and strong - This ramp is long and strong. I’ve used shorter ramps behind my truck, and as anyone knows who have used them before, the shorter, the ramp, the greater the slope, and the greater, the slope, the scarier, the ride in and out. As you can see in the attached video, this ramp is certainly long enough to reduce the slope to a more safe and comfortable angle. It has hard padding on the sides designed for the skis on a snowmobile. For me, I will be using this primarily for my four wheel ATVs. This ramp makes it very easy to get in and out of the back of my truck. Prior to this I had two single ramps that you had to lineup perfectly, which worked, but it was scary business. This takes all the stress out of it. When not in use it folds up 7 inches in thickness, which is enough clearance for me to actually get underneath my 4x4. I’m not gonna tell you it’s lightweight, but it’s certainly manageable. The prongs at the end are covered with a hard plastic that allow you to easily see where you need to set the ramp on the tailgate or behind any trailer you’re using. This also comes with two gator straps that allow you to attach the ramp to the vehicle you are entering or exiting. These are an absolute must have in order to prevent the ramp from slipping while in use. I couldn’t be happier with a full-size ramp and I will never go back again. It is so versatile and not only does it allow me to use my ATVs. It allows me to load my lawn tractor, motorcycle, and even my E bikes. I have a Ford F150 with a standard size bed, and as you can see in the attached video of the ramp does go to the end of the open tailgate so you would either have to lock it in place or lift up the ramp and have it hanging out a bit over the closed tailgate. This is certainly a small price to pay for having the length. Highly recommend.
