I then peeled about 6 inches at time and pressed with my hand, continually ensuring alignment. - After all the backing was removed, using a roller, I then rolled the length of the strip a few times, then went back and did the short side for the whole length. The grip is just like sandpaper, as it should be for its functionality of purpose. That was the only sort of issue, as there was plenty on the roll to cover that deficiency. I have a few other areas where I will still use the strips, as it feels that good, so this was not a waste.
