The witch hazel in this product eliminates that mineral buildup and leaves my hair and scalp very clean. When I wash with this shampoo twice, use a conditioner on the ends, and a higher end leave-in frizz protection creme, I can blowdry and straighten and it often leaves me with close to salon quality hair. This also keeps my oily hair under control and non-existent for the first 48 hours. I have the conditioner too. I only use a little, my hair type gets flat. I’m over 50 and highlight my hair ( just to blend the white in) I’m a blond. I’ve tried every shampoo, conditioner, and multiple other hair products. My daughter originally gave this to me to try ( her hair is not like mine, she has thick and luscious hair) I was sceptical, it works well. Not to harsh, and I have plenty of body. Cons: The name may be a bit of a turn off. Unable to find anywhere ( not a prime item) price is good, shipping price, not so good. If you like fruity shampoo’s this one’s not for you. It’s unisex for sure, you can smell a tad of witch hazel, I’m good with it.
