This baby gate has been a lifesaver in our home! Installation was super simple and didn’t require any additional tools. It fits perfectly in our hallway and feels very sturdy and secure. Our hallway is 48 inches wide, so this worked out perfectly for us. I love the walk-through design with the one-hand release latch, which makes it easy for adults to pass through while keeping little ones safely contained. The clean, neutral design blends well with our home decor. Overall, it’s a high-quality gate at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend to any parent!

I purchased 2 and absolutely love them! If I had to say anything bad at all I’d have to say I hate how they only open 1 way but that’s small. Love the gates! Very nice for the price and extremely easy to put together!! If you’re reading this review… just buy it!

This thing works great. It's solid and my 19-year old daughter was able to assemble it. Aside from having me drill 4 holes for the anchor points, she was able to do it all and it's sturdy and durable. Her son has power and can pretty much launch himself at it and it's not budging. lol Quite the sight to see...

I got this gate for a porch, it's a good size and looks nice. However, I wish the pieces held together at all times, instead of just when the gate is installed. What I mean is the pieces don't "clamp" or hold together, they only fit together loosely and so if you want to move the gate, you either have to move it in pieces or try to hold it all together and then hope you don't lose anything on your way. This is especially annoying if you need to move the gate around and don't need it installed permanently. I got it to coral my cats to the porch when they want to be outside and I don't have time to be, but otherwise I don't need it there. Maybe I didn't build it right, but I read the instructions and don't think I missed anything.

The five stars I gave are strictly for this company’s customer service. The gate comes with a 4 inch and a 12 inch extension that you can add onto the 29 inch gate. So you need a very specific opening size for this to work, and it would not fit my particular opening despite being within their advertised size range. It took a couple days to get ahold of customer service, but when I did they immediately sent me out a 6 inch and an additional 4 inch so that I could accomplish a 14 inch extension onto the 29 inch gate. They didn’t charge me for it. They were super friendly on the phone, and once I actually got ahold of them it was a breeze. The gate on the other hand is not a safe way to contain pets or children. It looks nice, it looks a lot more put together than the little wooden pressure mounted gates you can get for cheaper, but my cats and my 20 lb puppy pop the door on this open like it’s not there. And then my dogs get into the living room and destroy things and the puppy pees everywhere while I sleep. Even latched properly the door opens with minimal pressure against it. The door will be wide open with the latch still fully latched on the door. So it makes sense that in the instructions it says this is for six month old babies. If you have a toddler, definitely don’t use this somewhere that they might be able to push it open. Or if you have a big dog that you absolutely need to keep separated from company this will not safely do so. It’s also extremely wobbly even with the cups screwed into the wall, but I think that’s because I have three small extensions on it, it wobbles at the extensions. If you just use the 29 inch main gate or possibly just one extension I imagine it would wobble less. But I’m going back to my $15 wooden pressure mounted gate.

Just having a new baby this gate was able to give me comfort knowing she would not be able to enter the room I used it on. It came with extenders which was really nice. I didn’t know how big my doorway was actually going to be. I love that it has the extra lock protection on the bottom as well as the main lock on the top. I will be buying again! It is the appropriate height for most doorways. The quality is very sturdy. And it doesn’t stick out when you look at it it fits the room nicely.

Edit: I am adding another frustration because this product is unable to be disassembled in order to package for a return. It won’t fit back in the product box. There are two pieces that won’t come apart due to a pin that can’t be removed once inserted. I’m sure this gate is a fine gate if you have a certain sized entryway. Here’s my issue: the gate is rated for an entry of 29-49”. My doorway is 38” and this won’t work. I have tried all configurations of the included pieces. If I use just the smaller fence piece, the tension pieces just barely come short. If I use just the longer fence piece, it is just an inch or so too long. To make this work, I would have to use the shorter fence piece and then add wood to my doorway, which I don’t want to do, so I’ll be returning this. I’d be wary of this gate if your doorway measures 37-39 inches. Otherwise I’d think it would be fine within the 29-49” window.

Our grandson loves out dog ad the dog loves him only the grandson is a bit allergic to the dog. we bough this gate as it can be installed and then opened and closed with taking it down. We have a toy room for the boys and they can go in, lock the gate and keep the dog out. We don't use it on stairs or really, as a safety gate but to allow the boys to keep the dog out of their room. We leave it up all the time as is looks okay and we can get into and out of the room with it installed. It does have a bit of a safety ctach on the lock so small kids could not operate it if that is what you need.

Ordené esta reja para mi bebé y tenía mis reservas ya que leí malas reseñas pero me atrevo a decir que no hagan caso a las malas reseñas ya que cumplió con mis expectativas, llegó en perfecto estado empaquetada, la reja mide lo que dice en la descripción (49”) incluyendo extensiones y se ajustó perfecto a mi espacio de 48.5”/123cm, es de metal, fácil de instalar y queda muy rígida y estable, siempre y cuando LEAS Y SIGAS las instrucciones y la instalen correctamente; vi malas reseñas en cuanto a que es difícil de instalar o que la puerta no cerraba por quedar una abertura grande en la puertita pero literalmente viene con VARIOS letreros en la reja, caja e instrucciones que dicen que la abertura NO ES UN DEFECTO y se va cerrando conforme vayas ajustando la reja presionando con la pared, solo tienes que leer y seguir las instrucciones y será fácil instalarla y quedará segura. Además de la cerradura cuenta con un seguro extra para que no sea fácil que un niño la abra Contras: lo único malo es que la puerta es pequeña y no puedo pasar la carreola por ahí pero eso es porque yo paseo a mi bebé dentro de mi casa, además de que es para dejarse instalada en un solo lugar porque no es práctico estarla quitando y poniendo, pero aún así 10 de 10!!

Love this safety gate! 5 stars! Perfect baby safety gate. It keeps our toddler away from the stairs effectively. Great value for money. Easy to install, sturdy, safe, and it fits perfectly. Total peace of mind!

Easily fitted, used as a dog gate & can be used without the lock for an easier time moving between areas - the dog is not large enough to push the gate

We bought this for our new puppy to stop him climbing the stairs our are narrow but its easy to fit and adjustment is fantastic. Its plenty high enough ,very sturdy ,easy to open and keeps him safe.

Neither standard or extended size fits our stairs (one too small, one too big) to keep to their recommended bolt extension lengths. More importantly, it’s described as a pressure mounted gate, so should be suitable for renters who can’t add wall fixings - however, it comes with screw in wall cups and has a warning that says “NEVER USE WITHOUT WALL CUPS”, so is misleading in that description. So the only way we can use the gate would be in breach of two safety warnings and fairly wobbly. Waste of money for us.
