Overall I am very happy with this product. I was very torn based on all the reviews, but thankful I made the purchase to see for myself. I don’t have any quality issues. The silicone comes off easily so not sure why anyone was upset about them discoloring in the dishwasher. I simply removed them before washing. Not a fan of the silicone and would prefer some additional color options, also not a fan of the brand placement on the tumbler. I selected the black. I do wish this held more than 14 ounces, 16 + is ideal. I love that if needed I can purchase additional lids. Would love to see some additional accessories such as a diffuser in the future.

It's glass. It holds 16oz. The product page is not lying. However, even without using it, I can tell it's going to be incredibly fragile and will break upon the most subtle impact due to how incredibly thin the glass is. I like it because I can microwave water in the cup for my instant coffee. I do not like microwaving water in plastic because it tastes like the plastic... I'm going to keep it, but I'm likely not going to get another one when it eventually breaks. The "double-walled" construction does a minimal job at retaining heat; it is much better than nothing, as it lets me hold boiling hot water, but I believe that if you're looking for heat retention, get a proper insulated thermos. Edit: I increased my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because this has been much more pleasant to use than any other reusable drink carrier I have ever had. I still think that it might be fragile, but I've let it fall over and drop a few times already, and it hasn't broken yet. I will update my review again if the silicon gasket, foot, or hand ribbon start going loose, as mentioned in a few of the reviews here already.

The top is very thin glass. However, if your use case like mine is that you just want a glass container for tea that can fit in a cup holder without the lid, this is perfect. The tumbler itself is not fragile: just the top

I like this cup with a couple of reservations. The glass on the lid is VERY thin. A drop of just a few inches onto my countertop shattered it. It would also be so much easier to clean if I could put it in the dishwasher but the rubber gaskets don't hold up well. I also wish it held just a little bit more tea. Not 9 oz more but maybe 18 oz instead of 15 oz... It keeps my tea hot for a decent amount of time for a glass cup. It's easy to grip and easy to drink out of. And it's better than anything else I've found. To the person who complained the lid gets dirty and is difficult to clean - this is true. However, if you soak it in bleach/water solution for a few minutes, it removes the stains and grime like magic. Be sure you remove the rubber gasket first - the bleach will damage it. And be sure to put the gasket back on correctly or the lid won't stay on.

I had no idea how much metal contigo etc cups we’re changing the taste of the coffee, especially when in the cup for several hours. This tastes amazing. It’s not a travel mug replacement but it’s GREAT at what it is. It’s not leak proof, I’d call it leak resistant maybe. I used to put contigos in my purse all the time. This absolutely can not go in your purse even really nestled and propped upright. It doesn’t keep your coffee hot for hours and hours. But it does keep it hot for about an hour and a half vs 15 mins with a regular plain old kitchen mug. I bought it for a sensitive nickel allergy on hands and lips. Even stainless steel causes a reaction (it’s 10% nickel). Sipping from open top to check temp/taste would hurt lips. Even with coatings would bother hands especially the matte/rough finish color coatings. So tried this and came to *looooove* it! I mostly use it at home as I work from home but do take it to assembly and meeting type things, and on errands and visits etc. I’ve broken two but I’m a huge klutz and I even take this thing to the mailbox with me (one of the breaks on the concrete driveway!). I do think they are expensive but for me they are beyond worth it. Oh def easy to clean as the glass doesn’t absorb anything. I mostly hand wash or just rinse most days but do put in the dishwasher when I can spare being without it for a couple hours lol! It’s fine in dishwasher but black rubber (which is super soft grippy and nice) does seem to bleach out or get a little white-ish coating on it, then again I use lots of extra detergent and run on toughest wash setting. And the white doesn’t last long. I can’t image a better coffee mug for me. I imagine I will always have one or two of these ;)

This is my second purchase of this tumbler. Three years ago, I purchased my first one and was very careful of it until I accidentally knocked it off a side table. Interestingly, the outside glass remained more intact than the inside, thinner glass, which completely shattered, but the broken glass was more contained than I would have thought. Obviously, a glass tumbler will not survive a fall to a wood floor. I was happy to see I would be able to replace it and purchased a 2 pack. I like the clean look of glass. My previous tumbler looked like new the entire time I had it. I have not had issues with the lid popping off. You know the silicone seal is seated securely when the glass lid clinks against the glass tumbler when you put it on. With this being a 14 oz. tumbler, there is room for 12 oz. of coffee as well as sweetener and creamer. I have found that this tumbler does not keep my coffee as hot as metal travel mugs or for that length of time, but I usually only use it at home and when I know I’ll be drinking my coffee in a shorter amount of time. I don’t know how to judge the leakproof part of the review. It won’t leak unless it falls on its side, and then it might leak from the small sip and vent holes in the lid that are always open by design.

Looks very cool and fits my Ford Maverick cup holder well. When filled with a beverage It is quite top heavy and tips over easily. Definitely not for environment with computers or things that can be damaged. Seems well made and feels good in hand. Glass lid was not completely uniform but it is handmade so it is to be expected.

I love this cup all glass and keeps coffee warm not hot but its fine heat it up in microwave in another cup and then transfer it. I have bought other types of cups that keep coffee hot but you go drink it and it taste like metal. Glass all the way.

It just looks special. I love that the top is even glass. I ordered a back up lid which i have on hand, because I may tip it one day.

It is nice and clean product for cold drink but for hot beverages nice to hold and great but will not save the heat .
