It is very different than any dressing I've ever tried. I thought it tasted like mashed squash with a little vinegar mixed in. This is not a flavor I'd normally have with a salad or even on chicken (I also tried it as a marinade). The only reasons I had the first bottle was because I couldn't handle all the cooking on the AIP diet and worry about making the little things too. The second bottle was donated to a blessing box in town only because I hate to throw away food. I almost pity whoever took it and hope the second bottle was better.There are so few AIP products out there, so I appreciate the company accommodating special diets, but they missed the mark with this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dressings! *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2018* As someone who can’t eat nightshades, I was thrilled to see these new AIP dressings from KC Natural. I have had their BBQ sauce in the past and being able to eat BBQ like a regular person is kind of life changing. The catalina dressing is super versatile, it’s a cross somewhere between a smoky BBQ, a smoky ketchup, and a true catalina dressing. I see myself using it in lots of different applications. The honey butternut dressing would be a great substitute for italian, honey mustard, or other tangy type dressing. I thought both were great and well balanced. I didn’t notice the garlic taste that another reviewer mentioned. I will be ordering the pasta sauce next! They do taste a little different from traditional dressings, which is to be expected, but it's a blessing to have some flavor. I actually prefer them more as a meat or dipping sauce than a dressing for greens, just my preferences for taste combinations.
