Excellent value — clear, balanced sound and flexible setup
This Saiyin soundbar really exceeded expectations. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the design blends in nicely with most setups. It comes with both an optical cable and 3.5mm aux lead, and it also supports HDMI ARC — making setup fast and flexible for different devices. Audio performance is excellent: voices are crisp and clear, with great separation and no muddiness. It handles music, dialogue, and sound effects equally well, even at lower volumes. No boomy bass or harsh highs — just well-balanced sound throughout. A standout feature is the detachable speaker design. You can use it as a single bar or split the speakers left and right for wider stereo separation — the transformation mechanism is simple but clever. The remote is responsive and well-built, not flimsy like some. Also works great for legacy gear — I recommended it to my mum, who now uses it with her portable CD player via the 3.5mm input. Zero Bluetooth hassle. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a versatile, great-sounding setup without breaking the bank. I’ll be getting another for the living room

Good for the price
For the price, it's very good. Good quality, good connections including hdmi arc which is rare. Ability to switch into two speakers is amazing. Comes with a remote and well packaged. Unfortunately sound is a little too bass-heavy for me and sound feels very boxy so I replaced with something more expensive.

Full 5 stars
Needed better speaker for my projector for him cinema. Was apprehensive buying this but turns out there was no need. Slick design with foot pads, option to run sound via aux cable (supplied), Bluetooth, HDMI (not supplied) or optical lead (very short in length). I opted for the aux route as tend to find Bluetooth connection can cause a slight delay in sound, hdmi wasn’t an option for me (no spare cable) and as mentioned the optical cable is far too short. The sound quality is far superior than I anticipated, even with the volume cranked up over half way (very loud) there was no distortion. Base etc is brilliant and needed no adjustments. The speaker comes in two parts but can be connected to turn it into one long sound bar if required, only take the removal of two small screws. I highly recommend this speaker system for home projectors, pc gaming or movies or even just as a stand alone Bluetooth speaker for your music. Remote supplied is good with buttons for everything, but there is a few buttons on the speaker itself for when one of my kids decides to hide or lose the remote !

An added bonus!
Took me ages to realise how simple it was to connect together as a sound bar lol Once i discovered it, i decided i preferred it that way rather than speakers. Very reasonably priced and a very nice sound to it. I found with my new samsung tv the talking was hard to hear with background noise or music so added this sound bar and it helped alot by making the talking sound louder and clearer. I had discount which made it look even more attractive. It has bluetooth, i used the optical cable that came in the box with it. Well worth the money.

Cheap solid alternative ,not for everyone though
Based on huge praise sound wise I gave it a go for bedroom smaller(32)TV.Never had issue with connection or sound itself at all. So why 3 stars?well.first of I returned it mostly due to too boxy sound to my liking but I can see why others like it .If you'd need it for TV(like me )or tablet, laptop,or desk to listen to music on.yes.it Will do the job,It can be loud and sound alright it's not terrible by any means.Im a musician and my ear is a bit more demanding and "you get what you pay for" is a right thing to say here I guess. If you come from phone, laptop, tablet, cheap nasty pc speakers it's going to be an upgrade for sure.yes.and that's where praise comes from and I get that. I've had it only for 2 days but initial and overal experience was just fine ,yet not good enough for me.Cheap (£40ish) alternative for an upgrade and you'll hear the difference. Great feature is that you can use it as horizontal sound bar or separate them into 2 vertically standing speakers and use for pc etc. Do I recommend it ?I guess the answer is above.Great option if you don't have anything yet and don't want to spend a fortune or you're using dated nasty tech then it will do the job and you'll be just fine(as long as it'd work long enough-ive red they tend to stop working in months etc)Don't know. I don't regret trying.Had no problem to return it which is a plus too. Happy listening

Great sound
Great! Love the eay you can separate the speakers or have them as one. Absolutely spot in sound, so much better than the sound on my new TV, which I was having difficulty hearing speech on.

Good design and excellent connectivity options.
Quite good at this price point. I really like the possibility to hang on wall as separate 'stereo' speakers or use in one as a sound bar and convenient with the included remote. Sound is ok, bass quite good but I find the treble lacking but all in all, does it's job ok.

I am pleasantly surprised. Honestly I wasn't expecting much in buying this. It's my first sound bar. I'm not a fan of surround sound but my television has horrendous sound quality and I needed to do something. My biggest issue is action movies where the dialogue is almost inaudible and the fight sequences are loud enough to wake the dead. This sound bar has been hooked to my TV for over a month now and I'm in love. Music, movies, shows, YouTube, etc, everything sounds fantastic. The subwoofer also gave me what I didn't even know I was missing. Audio is so dynamic now but also way more balanced than before. My only complaint is the remote. You gotta point exactly right for it to register. I'm not even that far away from it (the bar is for the TV in my bedroom) but man, I gotta raise my arm and bend it some type of way for the bar to acknowledge it. Regardless I love the bar and the subwoofer so no star deduction for that because I don't think that would be entirely fair. Between the price and the quality of the product, I am very happy and would recommend it to anyone. The volume range is great. The audio quality is great. There's plenty of modes to connect it to what you want. And the design is sleek and aesthetically pleasing if you're into that.

This sucker can put it out. I was seriously thinking about purchasing the Edifier soundbar, but this one was $100 less. I can't vouch for a side by side comparison, but I really like this little speaker. You have several input modes, including auxillary input, which is important to me as I rarely use Bluetooth. Still, Bluetooth is there and it works fine, pairs up very quickly to all my devices. I like the remote and the fact that it has a subwoofer line out. The sound is just great for TV shows and casual listening. Good bass and nice trebles. I LOVE the woodgrain cabinet, it just looks really nice. The push button controls are easily accessed from the top and the status light on the front is easily visible but not intrusive during TV viewing. I wish it had rotary knobs for the volume and tone settings like the Edifier, but for the price, I'm not complaining. The build quality seems to be good and the remote works well. I have this set up with my bedroom TV and I'm really quite happy with it.

It is powerful and amazing. I ordered it, tested and found it extraordinary for the price. Returned it as I decided to get a better Samsung one with Wireless Woofer.

The Saiyin 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with a dedicated subwoofer is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, significant upgrade over their Smart TV's built-in speakers. It doesn't compete with high-end, premium systems, but it delivers on its promise of richer, more immersive sound for a fraction of the cost. The Verdict: Great Value for the Price The Saiyin sound bar and wired subwoofer combination offers powerful sound for its size and price point, delivering deep bass that is often missing from entry-level sound bars. While it has some limitations common to budget electronics (like basic build quality and limited EQ modes), it is a highly recommended solution for improving your daily TV watching, movie nights, and casual music listening. I used this for my gaming desktop and has worked great. I plan to attach to the wall directly behind my desk to make more room. The Final Word If you're tired of thin, tinny TV audio and need an affordable, hassle-free solution that brings noticeable oomph and clarity, the Saiyin 2.1 Sound Bar with Subwoofer is a fantastic entry-level home audio purchase. It will dramatically elevate your entertainment experience without requiring a complex setup or a massive investment. It is the definition of great value.

I recommend only getting this if you can use an equalizer or equalizer application with it. Dobly Atmos works despite what the listing says. That specific feature is probably restricted to the HDMI port. But, it works fine over Bluetooth, and the "Aux in"(headphone jack). Fantastic value. An upsetting thing about this speaker is that the remote is not specific to it. When, I use it, my other speaker from this company gets activated as well. Completely ridiculous. Each speaker has buttons that can be used instead. I set the volume on the speaker and then adjust it with the Boxput Bpr1s Bluetooth remote ($13). With an equalizer, the sound quality is very loud and clear.
