Also great for low-demand believers
This book is priceless. It fills a huge, huge gap that is in urgent need of being filled. As a member of a Protestant church that has existed since 1618 without dogmaโs (people write their own statement of faith) I have had lots of conversations, both with atheists and with people from high demand religions. Britt finally gives me the words to describe the tools spirituality has to offer. I love the book from cover to cover. I read the chapter about femininity first, but they are all equally enlightening and important. Must buy for any living creature, regardless of their denomination. Thank you so much, a lot of work must have gone into this one. I hope the next one will be picked up by a publisher - I am sure it will be!

Absolutely incredible, in a class all its own.
Im a voracious reader and always have 2 or 3 books Im into at a time, depending on daily mood. When I started this book I knew nothing was getting finished until I was done with it! I discovered Brittney Hartley on social media and shes the best thing my algorithm has given me! I wish this book was around when I was in my 20s, or even my 30s. Its a perfect starter book for someone interested in philosophy. Her writing style is superb, she seamlessly connects history to science, and religion to psychology. I think spirituality in the 21st century is more confusing than ever. We've never been bombarded with so much material, for so many hours a day. We've never had access to so many people's and ideas and w/o a guide and some logical groundwork its confusing even for the most intelligent critical thinkers among us. The wisdom in this book is what you'd expect from an eclectic team of experts in multiple fields, all decades older than Brittney. 5 stars dosen't do it justice. Everyone should read this book, preferably when you're still young and impressionable.
