this takes about 30 seconds to put together, once you get it out of the box. It isn't "heavy duty" or anything, but looks very nice and is multi-functional. The table top looks like a wood piece, but it's a wood looking metal, which is great for durability. It's smallish, but still fits lots of wood. To grill on it, you would probably need an extra grate with smaller grids to do like hamburgers, but hot dogs or sausages or steaks or chicken breasts would be no problem.

This fire pit is pretty wide for 26". The iron is durable and thick enough but definitely not flimsy at all. I have 3 seasons wood and it rained the day before so it should've been hard to light, but once it got going, it held that heat from embers so well I had to sprinkle water, more than twice and that just decreased the number of embers burning. At first, I put lots of moist 3 season wood thinking it would smother, like huge pieces(pic 1)..it started catching again..lol. This pit is awsome! The table lid is functional and light weight. The cover is very good quality and heavy duty material. Overall, for the ease of putting together, multi purpose/function, and the depth and width which holds lots of wood. It's a 9.5/10.. It would be a perfect 10 if the lid could tolerate heat so it could be used to smother embers when you're ready to put fire away. Definitely very happy with my purchase and it's worth every bit of $100. BTW, if you look on the ground it remained clean, no ashes spilling out.

Arrived dented but works!

This is a great pit and comes with a weather cover. That's not obvious from the description. I'm 76 and I put it together. It looks great and I love being able to use it as a table too.

Beautiful but was missing the firewood grate that goes inside. Too big and too much trouble to repack in box to return for another one.

Worked great, used for hot dogs. And smores, very easy to put together, thankful it came with a cover as well

The firepit arrived damaged on the lid and the firepit itself was all banged up. It also was missing the bottom grate that is needed to place the wood on. It is very thin metal and might only last one season. I would not recommend purchasing unless the price is listed at $50 or less. Had high hopes and I ended up disappointed with my purchase.

Nicely constructed, well made. I was surprised the table top cover was not wood but metal with a wood grain painted finish. It looks just as pictured. Perfect size for my small patio. It serves nicely as a coffee table. I feel it was a good value for the money.
