Works great, just don't expect miracles on long HDMI runs
I bought these to attempt to get 4K HDR from my PC to my living room TV. I couldn't afford a more expensive HDBaseT kit (like the SEADA HBT70B) and this unit appeared to hit the sweet spot of features and price.I've tried a few scenarios and its operation is generally as expected. The LED indicators are useful as they reflect both incoming and outgoing signal presence, useful for diagnosing problems with low quality cable or cable runs which are too long and cause too much signal loss. The HDMI2 output with integrated downscaler appears to cause no observable degradation to image quality (banding or aliasing) and there's no noticeable signal lag.I've not tested with a sync signal or clap test but it looks fast enough to be used for things like theatre presentations / office AV setups - or even things like UHD and scaled HD simultaneous output from a video camera or vision mixer in a production environment. You could definitely use this unit in your output signal chain if you're a FPS gamer, the unit doesn't seem to add any meaningful latency.I've not yet been able to verify true 4:4:4 colour space and end-to-end audio bitstream pass-through, but I suspect they do work as advertised. My first tests:1/ Taking HDCP protected output from a Sky+HD box to a primary display (4K TV) and a secondary 1080p monitor plugged into the duplicating output. I was impressed by that, as Sky+HD boxes are notorious for detecting HDCP issues and 'bluescreening' the video signal. This means the unit could be used to repeat a Sky+HD HDMI signal to multiple TVs in a house, as I had no issue sending 1080p or 1080i25 down a long run of HDMI cable.2/ Outputting HDMI 2.0 4K HDR from a Windows 10 PC (GTX 1070) to the 4K TV worked OK, although the HDMI cable length and quality makes a big difference. With a longer run of cable (30 metre HDMI cable) I could not achieve HDR, only 4K SDR or 1080p60. I managed to get a 'sweet spot' of 4K HDR using shorter cables and positioning the unit at the midpoint, but only to a maximum of 30 Hz - that's fine for all film and TV content but frame rate in games will obviously suffer.I suspect the signal loss from my long run of cheap HDMI cable (about 30 metres) takes its toll on being able to achieve >30 Hz. I'm sure with a shorter run of HDMI, or using higher quality HDMI cables (I'm using cheap HDMI 1.3 cables with female-female adaptors along the run) - or HDMI-ethernet extenders - I would be able to do 60 Hz, 4K HDR.Without using more costly equipment and cabling you can't expect miracles, and you cannot beat physics even with super-expensive HDMI cable. (And what's the point in trying? HDBaseT is really the only option for >30 metre runs.)For my intended purpose - getting HDR UHD signals from a computer ~30 metres away to a TV, without using LAN streaming - this unit works almost exactly as I was hoping for.Used at a midpoint between the PC and TV, the unit does a great job to equalise the low SNR, poor quality signal from the PC, reclocking and boosting it sufficiently for the TV's input to recognise it. When I used a single run of 30 metre HDMI cable, the SNR was not good enough to even get full HDR, so I'm happy with the performance of these units. When connecting multiple displays, it's important to connect the highest resolution display first, so it can properly clone the monitor EDID and maximum resolution properly. The manual explains the process well.

Works with sky q at 4k and another tv at 1080p 60hz
Easy setup, used fibre optic HDMI which is pricey but it’s working over a 25 metre run absolutely fine and zero latency still. HDANYWHERE did my absolute nut in I wished I’d found this brand sooner! Literally 10/10 no qualms! Works a treatPhoto added is of the 1080p tv upstairs working a dreamIs even working with zero latency on arc for the Sonos soundbar downstairsOne thing I will recommend if doing this turn off hdmi control on the sky q settings otherwise when you go upstairs with the Bluetooth remote which works fine it will turn the telly on downstairs but a 5 second fix no dramas now 😆👌🏼👍🏼

Impressive piece of kit! Perfect for duplicating one 4K HDMI output to two different displays!
4K and HDMI 2.0 has been around now for a while, yet for ages now I've been searching for an HDMI splitter which would allow me to duplicate a 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 signal to two 4K displays - with no compromises. I had previously purchased devices that were only capable of 4K 30Hz even though it was advertised as a 4K 60Hz device. Frustrating!Until now I had been unsuccessful, but at last I found it! My search is over. This little beauty will do exactly as advertised. It has excellent build quality and works flawlessly. It is fully compatible with HDMI 2.0b (with an 18Gbps limit) and HDCP 2.2. I have two 4K displays, but as a bonus, If you have one 4K display and one 1080p display, it will even scale down to 1080p for that display ONLY, leaving the 4K display at its native 4K and the 1080p display at its native 1080p - Excellent!Obviously high quality HDMI cables are required, otherwise you might struggle with 4K60Hz. For reference, I ordered a few Amazon Basics HDMI cables with this, and they work perfectly. Just hook it up, connect the included power supply, and it just works.Amazing device from AV Access!

Seems not to work with an old Sony 46" TV bought in 2007
We needed this device to split the 4k output from an AV amplifier in 2 and downscale both to 1080p. Unfortunately, our Sony Bravia KDL-46Z4500 TV shows “Unsupported Signal. Check your device output.”.For our more modern 22” Sony kitchen TV, this works perfectly. We have tried swapping the output cables on the splitter and putting another HDMI HD splitter or an HD input selector in the way. Neither makes any improvement. If you feed a standard HD signal into the splitter, it all works okay. But unfortunately, we need both the splitting and downscaling at the same time.I guess the Sony Bravia KDL-46Z4500 bedroom TV might only support a previous version of HDMI, but that doesn’t help me much.

Does not work as expected require either a working unit or a refund
Clearly states works with 4k uhd but it doesn't as proved in the second photo, in the first photo the tv is just plugged direct into the Xbox one X and all is well and good. I've plugged the splitter/downscaler into the Xbox one X and It can only play in 2k at 30fps At best and on the second screen it was playing fine in 1080p but the second screen is connected to a elgato hd60 as a passthrough and works fine yet the capture card flashes every 2 seconds no signal then reconnects, a diagram of my set up on picture 3, 8 need help

Perfect!
Having tried a few HDMI splitters, this one works like a charm.

Perfect for BT 4K UHD / 1080p split.
Perfect. My £15 splitter was stopping BT Sport UHD outputting in 4k, despite the cheap unit being labelled as 4k. After an evening researching this I found out it's all to do with HDCP etc. Anyway, this new splitter fixed EVERYTHING! BT box goes into Input. TV connected to HDMI output 1 is the 4K one and it works in 4K, whilst simultaneously the older HD TV on output 2 is downscaled to 1080p. Yes, this gadget DOES allow mixed output from BTTV 4K UHD depending on the max. resolution supported by the TV. Perfect for BTTV if you want 4K UHD split. Oh, and the image shows the front and the back of the unit on top of each other - it is only single height. It also comes with some little mounting brackets if you want it fixed somewhere. Brilliant.
