Instant New York Times bestselling series Instant USA TODAY bestselling series In the sizzling hockey romance that has taken TikTok by storm, the star goalie discovers the family he’s always wanted when he falls in love with a single mother. “Mack proves it is in fact always the quiet ones. Another deliciously sexy and honest story of friendship, family, and falling in love.” —Hannah Grace, New York Times bestselling author of Wildfire and Icebreaker The third book in the internationally bestselling Playing for Keeps series. Can he leave the past behind to forge the future he’s always wanted? When it comes to dating, Adam Lockwood wouldn’t know luck if it hit him in the face. After a failed relationship and a string of dates gone wrong, the thought of being vulnerable with someone is terrifying—most women only see his fame. But when his dog runs into Rosie Wells, a beautiful woman with a blush as pink as her hair, she doesn’t seem to have a clue who he is, and Adam seizes the opportunity as a chance to finally be himself. Rosie has her hands full as a single mother and fourth-year veterinary student, and she certainly wouldn’t know a hockey player if she ran into one. She doesn’t have time to date, and she’s fiercely protective of her little family. But when a chance encounter leads her to Adam, she knows it’s worth risking her heart. The only problem? Adam is used to wearing a mask—he’s a goalie, after all. And as he holds onto a secret that threatens to unravel him and destroy his new family, they’re both at risk of losing more than ever before. Unravel Me contains emotional references to the past death of parents and its surrounding grief, as well as brief discussions of foster care, depictions of child neglect (not by the main character), and the death of an animal (minimal descriptions and as it pertains to the FMC’s training as a veterinarian student; not main character’s pet). If you are sensitive to these subjects, please use this information to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with this story. Review: Comes under the category of 'one of the best books I've read so far' - Started this book only hoping that Adam will finally get his happy. But the turns in story have made it more special. I wasn't expecting the concept of foster system and to be included in this chapter but knowing Becka, I knew there would always be a learning in the story. We often things for granted that we never understand that how some people are dying to experience our life . Iam so thankful to you for writing this amazing story. As someone who has always been conscious about myself thinking I won't be enough for people who loves me, this story is an eye opening. I could relate so much with the characters. And don't get me started with roller coaster of emotions I felt (especially in epilogue- the conversation with Lily and Rosie in the beginning of the story). Definitely comes under the category of 'the best books I have read in 2023'. Sending lots of love and I hope u continue doing what you love. I hope you get all the success but ur books are *chef kiss*. Honestly thinking back to corona period, the only good thing about it was finding ur books one fine night on Wattpad since then I've been reading ur books. It started with Carter and I hope It continues for a long time(me reading ur books). Review: 4.5 star ! - I absolutely loved this. The only reason I gave this book 4.5 star is because of some parts that felt a little extra corny and cheesy. Like it didn't seem necessary but it's still there because the author wanted to write it which is perfectly fine because she is the one who wrote this book in the first place. It's just at some point some dialogues felt really unnecessary. Also I freaking love the chitter - chatter and the banter between the boys and boys and girl as well. That's one of the main reason I gave this book almost full star. Also I freaking love Connor and why does no one talk and out him often in there reviews of this book ?! They need to - need to specify Connor and bear and piglet more often man. I mean come on we have give them more credits right ?? Anyways I very highly recommend this book. I jumped directly to the 3rd book in this series. But I suggest reading the books in sequence if you will. Enjoy !

Best of the series!!!!
I thought nothing could top Consider Me (Olivia and Carter's story) but this takes the piece!!! I cried so much in this book, and how they found each other and loved each other...made each other believe their worth was just spectacular! I don't know how you are going to top this one Becka, but I so hope you do! And I'm so glad I found this series...thank you for all the amazing stories of my favourite family!!

Utterly disappointing and exhauting
1.5 stars How utterly ridiculous this book was! It felt more like a therapy session—and not in a good way. Every conversation between Adam and Rosie read like, well... dialogue—the overly polished, scripted kind. Adam came off more like her therapist than a romantic interest. For every sentence Rosie uttered, he responded with some sage piece of wisdom. 🤯 The result? A story so cloyingly sweet and emotionally forced, it bordered on the absurd. The narrative lacked any real depth or grounding—everything felt artificial, overly sentimental, and painfully juvenile. Instead of building a believable connection, the author seemed more focused on stuffing the dialogue with life lessons and feel-good monologues. Adam didn’t feel like a romantic hero—he felt like a glorified counselor. And Rosie? She was little more than a patient. Her dialogue was an endless stream of insecurities and emotional baggage, delivered with no context or development. There was no background, no buildup—just a sudden emotional unloading onto a man she barely knew. And, of course, he always had a perfectly crafted, wise response at the ready. What began with so much anticipation—especially after enjoying the first two books—quickly unraveled into a preachy, overworked therapy session disguised as a romance novel. Okay, ending my rant here. I really wanted to love this, but I walked away feeling disappointed, disconnected, and honestly... exhausted.

Emotional and Perfect
Unravel Me by Becka Mack Tropes: Single Mother/ Hockey Player/ Found Family/ Traumatic Past/ Hidden Identity/ Inta Connection/ No 3rd Act Breakup/ Dual POV “Unravel Me” is the third book in the “For Keeps” series, I read the first book in this series and fell head over heels with these characters. My all-time favorite was Carter Beckett, how he loved fiercely and never wavered in his pursuit of Olivia. Well let me tell you something, that changed today, I AM OBSESSED WITH DADDY ADAM. Like literally OBSESSED with this man, the way he loved was out of this world, he never doubted his feelings toward Connor, Rosie, or Lilly, he was such a perfect book boyfriend, that it is really a shame that he doesn’t exist in real life. “Unravel Me” had me ugly crying and honestly, I lost count of how many times I was in tears thanks to this book. Rosie is a single mother who had a really tough upbringing, the loss of her parents at a young age forced her to go under the system, and she never found a family who could adopt her. Now she struggles with being someone’s choice because after her parents died she was alone and no one chose her. Her feelings are so raw and valid, she struggles and has a tough life but she never lost hope in finding someone who would love and choose her and Connor every single day of her life. Adam notorious serial dater, all he ever wanted was to have someone who love him for who he was, and no the NHL star. He has been hurt in the past by his ex-girlfriend who cheated on him, and now all he wants is to find his ‘person’. He feels lonely and undeserving of love due to the scars his last relationship left on him. Until one day, his dog decided to play matchmaker and led him to the five-foot-four single mother who stole his heart with just a smile. Never in a million years, he’d think that she would give him everything he thought he did not deserve anymore. Adam and Rosie's relationship was emotional and heartwarming to read. Despite the challenges life had thrown at them, they had so much love to give each other. 'Bear,' Adam's dog, played a significant role in bringing them together. Once they started dating, their love continued to grow, and their support for each other during moments of doubt was beautiful to witness. Adam's acceptance of Rosie's role as a single mother without hesitation was refreshing, and he embraced every aspect of her life. Rosie's strength in raising her son while juggling work and studies was inspiring. Adam's family welcomed her with open arms, and she truly deserved her happy ending. Their love and support for each other allowed them to expand their family without hesitation, and they complemented each other perfectly. Their love story was a beautiful journey of finding happiness and creating a loving family together. This book was so emotional, never have I ever cried so much, yet Adam and Rosie’s story had me bawling my eyes out from the beginning all the way to the end. I rated this book with 5 stars and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Tropes: Single mom Found family Cinnamon roll MMC Animal lovers Hockey romance After I read consider me I already couldn't wait to read this book, I already fell in love with Adam before I read his book and fell even further after reading it!. Adam Lockwood is the sweetest man I've ever read, the things he has been trough and how he goes on with life and is still the sweetest ever. The way he cares for Rosie is amazing and sooo sweet.!
