Great way to boost your iodine intake. I have never noticed a flavor. I use it as if it were salt. Very reasonably priced.

Of Irish descent, I thought I'd try that tradition of adding dulse to steel-cut oats. It gave it a wonderful savory taste.

This is a good salt substitute, but it does taste like the ocean, with a very briny flavor.

I usually get kelp powder, but I got this instead. I would say it’s about the same.

This stuff is quite good, especially for how little sodium it carries. Definitely carries a kelp/seaweed flavor but I like that. If you're looking for fun/novel seasonings that don't add much sodium, this is certainly something to check out. It's also purple, which is neat. Their kelp seasoning is also tasty but has more sodium, to the point where I feel questionable about adding it/eating too much. This stuff is low enough to where I can just enjoy it without worry.
