One of the worst printers ever built
Got it for my very busy mobile work, as I am out and about a lot. I regret it already from day one.Pros:- initial wow factor, but quick to climax-Mobile and easy to carry-Small-Light-Own battery so no cables required to get power on it-Bluetooth, although never tried it-Plug and play and windows will "see it" immediately- Ink cartridges last a long time. I am currently using cartridges that have expired in 2016.... WOWDisadvantages:-Expensive to buy, and to maintain. Eats through ink like jet fuel. Clearly not carbon friendly at all-From HP-Fiddly-Jams a lot-Slow, takes ages to print a page... get a cup of tea, but be careful if it does not jam or does one of its wizardries-Makes a mess every time, and I have to waste so much paper, as it stains edges of paper with lose ink- Somehow HP expects us to carry screw drivers and extra ink service modules when the old one is full- If you forget the cables and your battery runs out you may as well not have a printer- The manual is like breaking through an ancient Alien Codex, still don't understand how to connect most of it- Not user friendly at all and not intuitive when lights start blinking that doesn't mean anything to the lay person- Very poor margin print, and it actually "eats through lots of margin at the bottom of the page", which is stupid for a printer like this that feed from above. These type of printers normally tend to be all borderless, or have that function, and print even bits at the edge of a page, but not this one.- Did I say expensive?Overall opinion:Don't buy it, just find a printing service somewhere that charges cheap for prints. It's from HP and that says it all.Mine nearly went to the bin today, as i spent nearly 2 hours trying to figure out why it would not print, only to eventually find out the ink module was full (it was not full at all, just some leftover ink on it) so I had to make do, and did a bit of DYI on it. Luckily, I had some screwdrivers and plastic gloves on me, and a bit of creativity.
