I kept wanting to buy this Taka plush (and the coinciding book novelization of the new Mufasa movie) in excitement for the newest Lion King installment. But something seemed off about the plush...I got it anyways though, and I'm glad I did, the plush is super soft and good quality, and I was happy to find the head does sit upright and doesn't flop over. It's a great plush overall, but I kept thinking something still looked off about it...I'm guessing they skipped the quality control process at the factory, as I am 99% sure the ears are sewn on backwards. The brown inner part of the ear is on the back. I checked the product photo and other reviews online, and it's the same for other plushes as well, so I'm guessing it's either a huge, over-arching mistake, or not a mistake? I know lions can have brownish tipped ears, maybe that was the look trying to be achieved? But cute plush, either way!

I wish it would have been bigger for the price. Overall my grandchild loved it.
