ClosetMaid8995 Stackable 24-Inch Wide Horizontal Organizer, Espresso

I purchased this shoe rack to replace my old bamboo one that finally broke. I needed something that was a little more durable given that I have to keep my Rubbermate tote on top. I live in a small bungalow and I have very limited storage space and my small bedroom closet has a set down into it so the drawer tote I use to keep some of my things in has to be lifted off the floor or it's a horrible hassle to open the bottom drawer. It's not super heavy but I needed something sturdy. This shoe rack is nice and sturdy. I like that it comes with a wall anchor if you want to attach it to the wall. I would if I was going to stack multiples. This is a great little shoe rack for my need. It did come with a chip in it which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. They should have be better quality control. I the chip was on the inside and I'm putting it in my closet so I didn't bother to make a fuss about it but the box wasn't damaged in any way so it did go in the box like that and I do want to give an honest review. So, it's possible you might have to request a replacement piece if you get a damaged piece and you are going to be putting this where someone can see it. They are made of partical board so you can't just repair that. The damage to mine is about the size of my pinky nail and like I said, it was on the inside where you can't see it when it's put together, at least not where I have it at.

Fits great next to my bed, serves as a little bed-night stand. Very sturdy and easy to assemble!!

not really sure why my picture doesn’t look great but the product is really nice! it was really easy to put together, although my instructions were in spanish 😭 there were no english ones in mine but it was like 3 steps so it wasn’t an issue since there are photos lol. even without a guide it’s still pretty self explanatory. it took about 5 minutes to build and the color is really nice. i love it and it’s such a great price definitely buy it

I bought the larger ones many years back to solve the issue of my shoes taking over my closet - I think my shoes multiply when I am sleeping. : )They lasted – and still look great after all these years. This time around I bought the shorter ones - this way - between the larger ones and these smaller ones side by side in my closet - I still had room in my closet for a section for my dresses to hang down to the floor too. Plus all my shoes are pretty tidy at this point too.Pretty easy to put together - although you have to use a bit of muscle to get the screws in tight with a manual scredriver. They also have a bit of weight to them as well – which I think is a good thing. My older ones have never sagged and the particle board is quite thick and sturdy. (One guy's review said he was disappointed when it broke when his friend sat on it - and another review warned not to let your children stand or play on these... I have no idea what some people are using these for - but they are MADE FOR STORAGE OF YOUR SHOES!?!?!? Oh - and another reviewer also exclaimed surprise that the box did not include a hammer and screwdriver – seriously? I guess his butler must have been off that day. : )Some reviews here complain that the back of the finished product is not actually finished - just pressed board showing. I don't understand this complaint at all. If you have them in the closet against the wall - you can not see the backs at all. Even if you have them out in an open room - I would assume they will still be against a wall - so what is the problem?The only problem I have – as being a woman with high heels as well as flats – most heeled shoes – especially higher ones will not fit in the slots. Flats, sneakers, most sandals – great. Even for lower heals or maybe higher heels but in a sling back style or something – again no issue. For the higher heeled sturdier shoe – they just won’t fit.I wish they would make one “for the women” – it would be very helpful. Seriously – one that may be a bit higher just for the women would be GREAT! For now – my highest heels either sit on the closet floor next to the shelves – or I put them on the top of the units once stacked.Still a great product. And it is very helpful that they offer different widths as well – and different color finishes!

I got 3 of them to stack. I would have loved it if it was just a pinch wider to fit 3 pairs of adult shoes. The plastic parts were smashed to pieces in 2 of them.

In an effort to keep the inside of the house cleaner I set the house rule to take off the shoes when entering the house. I didn't want a big pile of shoes, and I didn't want an expensive solution. I found these, and they were very reasonably priced, and most important, they fit in the space where I wanted to store my shoes.I started out with one of them, and then I added another one, and another one, and another one. So now I have four of them. They do have pegs so that they can interlock on top of each other. They also have an attachment so you can screw them to the wall, or some back support if needed.

Use it for home theater and DVD.was happy I found this.very sturdy,and stable,and it matches tv stand.

I needed a small shelf for my dad's 31" TV. This was the perfect height and matched the woodgrain of his dresser. The lower shelf is perfect for holding his clock radio and cable box. Much better deal than other TV shelves I was looking at.

Nice color Espresso, but arrived damaged. Would cost too much to return with the size and weight and worried we would NOT get our shipping costs back so tried to do the best we could with what we got. Hoping it will hold even though damage was a big chunk out of an area right where one of the screws was to go. East to assemble and would have been perfect if not for the damage.

Nice little unit but not for heavy boots or ankle height shoes. Veneer over pressboard. Easy to assemble. Unfortunately three of the corners came damaged and white pressboard is very noticeable through the cracked espresso veneer. Inside packing non existent so nothing to protect shelving in shipping. Great little unit for the price, if it’s not damaged.

This is the fourth one I bought... the style is so minimalistic and clean. They stack on top of each other so that’s super convenient. It’s easy to assemble by yourself. It looks great, and lasted me 3 years so far. No cracks or anything.The only downside is that it fits 2.5 pairs of shoes lol. The only time I can fit 3 pairs is when they’re really slim shoes like flats. Got a pair of men’s runners in the same row? Nope, you can only put one shoe..

The color and air was good for my place but the quality is not that great . It was easy to assemble but is very flimsy. Not worth the money
